McDonald's — Restaurant in Zumbrota

Update 2-23-2020. I don't understand how you can mess up a simple order. Asked for honey mustard sauce sweet and sour and barbecue. the fries were not fresh tasted nasty and you could taste the burnt oil from the fryer. Funny still no response from the owner regarding comments and reviews. They obviously do not care. Honestly from now on we'll drive to Rochester if we really need but in the future probably not.

So we have frequented this McDonald's for several years. Almost every time we go there, there is a delay. You're waiting in line or you have to pull over and wait until they have to bring your food out. You absolutely have to double and triple check your order before you drive away from the window because 99.999 percent of the time it's probably not correct. We just left and AGAIN our order was botched. It was a very simple order. Kids meal, #1 & #2 WITH NO ONIONS!!! and a sausage McMuffin with cheese. We had to pull forward and wait for our order because they had to make the "sausage" McMuffin. 1st time they brought out the order they forgot the chocolate milk for the kids meal. 2nd trip out they forgot the ranch dressing and then....The made the burgers "WITH ONIONS AND.....PUT EGG ON THE "SAUSAGE MCMUFFIN". Last chance for romance with this McDonald's and I'm finally going to go ahead and send a report to McDonald's headquarters to see if they're franchisee can get their franchise license pulled from this place. The absolute worst McDonald's I have ever been to In My Life! East Coast to West Coast, North to South this is the worst McDonald's ever! AND.....Just took a bite of my Big Mac and noticed there wasn't much cheese, opening up there was literally maybe a quarter slice of cheese (see photo). They don't even get one...

This place used to be great, but lately they're more rude and lazy. Increasingly they're providing water-tasting beverages instead of the actual beverage you ordered (orange juice, soda, etc.). Last time this happened the younger guy at the window would not exchange my orange-colored water for orange juice, forcing me to drive around the entire building and wait a second time in the backed up drive through for it, then be told by someone else to pull up to the window (that I had just come from) and that they would fix it. Then today I politely questioned whether what I was handed was a large, which is what I ordered. The older woman sharply said "well you paid for a medium! That's a medium!" As if I was lying, and I got what I ordered, so just take it. I would have been happy to pay the difference, or to have initially paid for what I ordered in the first place, but that kind of rude behavior is unnecessary. I am done. Not my fault if you input the order wrong and therefore filled it wrong, but that's not what I ordered or wanted. Additionally, they are consistently forgetting the dipping sauces with...

This is one sloppy McDonalds. Normally I wouldn't leave a review since most MCD's are similar in quality/cleanliness, but this location is an outlier. This was my drive thru experience.

I was given my drink cup dripping with soda and the employee acted inconvenienced when I asked her for a napkin. Then I asked for some ketchup and was handed a ball of packets stuck together with honey. Seriously.

Every item in the bag had some kind of sauce smeared on the outside of the packaging. Both burger boxes were soaked with grease on the outside, top and bottom. The assembly of the burgers was just as sloppy. And the trash can outside was overflowing.

I could understand some of these issues if they were particularly busy. However we were the only car in the drive thru during this whole transaction. It's clear that the employees/managers just don't care at all. Luckily we went through the drive thru because I can only imagine how sticky and disgusting the inside of this place must be.

If you're on HWY 52 just keep driving in either direction and you are sure to find another McDonald's that's better...
