Came with my boyfriend for a Sunday lunch, we arrived there at 2pm, we were not welcomed by the staff (I meant greetings), we then sat at the table behind (the garden area). We asked for wifi password because our telco data wasn’t that great and we have work calls to attend to. The staff did not respond and just walked away hearing what I’ve requested. Not long they did deliver what we requested, fine it’s okay. We then asked for a ashtray, the staff brought it over and we just smoked as usual. We ordered our food, the food came and the other staff came to us and told us we can’t smoke here. The question is, if we can’t smoke, then why the hell did the staff gave us an ashtray? Haha
I’ll let this pass and was just thinking to myself, quickly finished my food and just leave then. When I stood up and walked to the counter, one of the staff came to the table (which she did not say a word) and we said you can clean the table no worries :) haha again, she did not say a word at all like even a simple thank you for coming or whatsoever.
Walked to the counter to pay for our bills, the staff just turned the iPad and showed the amount. Again not a single word from all of them. I told the girl, why cant you just tell me how much? And she answered me that she does that to everyone? Haha

Read moreVery disappointing experience for such a cool looking spot... arrived at 12 noon, drinks didn't come out till 12:45. At 1:30pm I had to ask about our food, none of our meals had arrived.. finally at 1:40 3 of 4 meals turned up. No apologies. Waited patiently till 2 and then asked again to finally get the last meal ("maple bacon" was raw bacon chopped that I had to push to the side) ... lots of walking around staff doing nothing so not like they were run off their feet, chef was eating when I walked past to the toilet. Then we went to pay and the lady at the counter was on a phone call on loudspeaker - no acknowledgement or apology, just all around disappointing. I'm sure it was a case of what could go wrong will but they could have dealt with it...
Read moreFunky indoor outdoor shipping container set up serving cocktails, tacos, burgers and wood-fired pizzas. In the right weather the outdoor garden would be a lovely place to dine. I tried a strawberry gin sour (1550VT) that was what it said on the box: pink and sour. The passion island (1550VT) was a bit sweeter, with pineapple juice, orgeat syrup, lime juice and passionfruit liqueur.
Well presented tacos (600VT/each) ate best in carne asada. The soft pliable 6” tortilla are also great wrapped around prawns with lime. The table is adorned with a range of Kiwi hot sauces, starting from mild and going all the way up to a Carolina Reaper-infused 10. The pulled beef taco was good but very wet, so have that strategically placed napkin ready before...
