Nhà hàng cơm hải sản Đại Hằng nằm gần khách sạn Mường Thanh khoảng 5 phút đi xe, gần dinh cá Ông và cảng Món ăn rất tươi ngon, giá cả phải chăng, một trong những nhà hàng ngon nhất tại đảo Mình rất thích cơm nhà nên order phần cơm nhà kèm nhum biển rất ngon ngọt ngon hẳn hơn nhum biển của Phú Quốc rất nhiều tuy nhiên quán nên gia giảm đậu phộng để khách tận hưởng trọn vẹn hương vị thịt nhum hết có thể. Ngoài ra, có lẽ chủ nhà hàng có tấm lòng nhân hậu vì mình thấy nhân viên có một số người có 1 chút khiếm khuyết cơ thể và họ cũng rất vui vẻ, chân chất, chuyên nghiệp trong lúc làm việc. Nếu có dịp về lại đảo Lý Sơn mình vẫn muốn ghé qua đây ăn cơm. 10 điểm cho quán ạ

A Hidden Gem of Lý Sơn: Đại Hằng Seafood Restaurant

During my stay on Lý Sơn Island, I discovered Đại Hằng Seafood Restaurant, located just a five-minute drive from Mường Thanh Hotel, and close to Ông Fish Shrine and the port. This restaurant is one of the best on the island, offering fresh and delicious dishes at very reasonable prices.

What sets Đại Hằng apart is the quality and freshness of the food. The seafood is caught daily, which is evident in the flavors. I particularly enjoyed the "nhum biển"(sea urchin), a specialty that tasted exceptionally sweet and flavorful, even better than the sea urchin I had tried in Phu Quoc. I ordered a home-cooked rice set with sea urchin, which was not only satisfying but also reminded me of the simple yet comforting flavors of home. However, I would recommend that the restaurant reduce the amount of peanuts in the dish so that customers can fully appreciate the delicate flavor of the sea urchin.

Another noteworthy aspect of Đại Hằng is the kindness and heart of the restaurant owner. I noticed that some of the staff had physical disabilities, but this did not affect their professionalism or work ethic. They were all incredibly friendly, humble, and attentive, which made the dining experience even more special. It’s heartwarming to see a business that offers opportunities to individuals with disabilities, and it speaks volumes about the compassion and values of the owner.

The restaurant’s atmosphere is also a highlight. It’s casual yet warm, with a sense of authenticity that makes you feel like you’re dining in someone’s home rather than a commercial establishment. The service was prompt, and the staff ensured that every guest felt welcomed and taken care of.

If I ever return to Lý Sơn, Đại Hằng Seafood Restaurant will definitely be at the top of my list of places to revisit. It offers not only great food but also a heartwarming experience that leaves a lasting impression. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the island, whether you're a seafood lover or simply looking for a place that feels like home.

We stayed in Ly Son for one week, and almost every day we came to Đại Hẳng restaurant for dinner. We found a very comfortable place, a quick and precise staff (especially one waiter who could speak English and helped us oder food), and very tasty food.
