Very pricey. I’m Vietnamese American. I came here with a couple of German friends to have dinner. The view was beautiful. The menu was all in Vietnamese so it was harder to order as my Vietnamese reading is limited. We asked if the waiter can translate the menu for us which she did. The food was fresh but tasted OK, nothing too special to charge 250k a plate. The strange part was we were sitting outside for the view and air, and my friend needed a smoke after the meal. The owner of the restaurant came over and told her if she could put out her cigarette as there were a family dining, a distant away from us that had a little kid maybe around 7 yrs old. And then later when we were ready to leave the owner came to say hi and started chatting. He was obvious drunk as I can smell the alcohol on him. My ordered grab driver showed up minutes before my friends ride and the owner came up to the driver and said something to him and then he told me if I can cancel the trip as he had something he had to go to. That was the strangest thing as I was thinking why did he take the ride in the first place if he had somewhere to go. Right after that the owner kept pushing me to take the ride on his phone. Being super pushy and obnoxious. I got another driver right away. And proceeded to start walking across the street away from the restaurant. My friends ride showed up right before mine. And I was relief when my ride came right after. I’ve never felt this unsafe in Vietnam. As I am Vietnamese myself and know that I was being hated on and being harassed in this way by a restaurant owner. Found this absolute gem right next to the river and the beautiful bridge on our way to Đồng Hới and Ninh Bình. One of the BEST Vietnamese dinners I’ve had so far since travelling through Sai Gon, Đa Nẵng, Hội An and Huế.

Perfectly cooked family style homemade dinner. Brought me back to my childhood in Northern Vietnam. Everything tasted amazing and the seafood we ordered tasted sooooo freah. The owner told us enthusiastically how their squids, shrimps and fishes are caught by themselves in the big river that we are facing next to.

On your way to the restroom, you walk past the “open” kitchen and everything looked clean and organised. The restroom were fully equipped and clean as well.

Search google thì quán cũng được đánh giá khá tốt. Nhiều review yêu cầu đặt trước nên nhà mình đã gọi đặt trước. Trong đó nhà hàng có nêu ra món cá bò hộp là món ăn chơi nhậu, tầm 3 lạng 1 con, là món đặc biệt của nhà hàng. Tuy nhiên khi mình đến ăn thì món cá bò làm rất lâu, lúc mang lên thì chưa chín, phải nướng lại cũng lâu. Thành ra bữa ăn vì 1 món mà mất ngon. Nhà hàng có giảm giá 50% món cá ( nhà mình cũng ko dùng đến do đã ăn xong lâu rồi) nhưng 3 con cá cân lên là 1.8 kg giảm 50% là 0.9 kg. Vậy cũng ko phải là 3 lạng 1 con như ban đầu. Món ghẹ của nhà hàng cũng không ngon mà đắt nữa 1.2tr 1 cân. Ở bên biển Nhật Lệ có các dãy quán thì giá 800k 1 cân. Cũng có thể do khác ngày khác giá. Các món cơm thì cũng tạm ổn. Cơm hơi ít. Thịt kho cháy cạnh cũng ok. Các cháu nhân viên thì khá bối rối dù cũng ngoan. Quán có lẽ sẽ ổn nếu ăn các món bình thường. Mình cũng không bảo nhà hàng tính gian. Tuy nhiên trải nghiệm từ khi đặt món ăn đến lúc món ăn ra là không nhất quán và đem lại cảm giác không tốt đến cho nhà mình.
