Let me tell you about this amazing bánh xèo place I found in Bac Lieu called Bánh Xèo A Mật. Now, I've had my fair share of bánh xèo throughout Vietnam, but this one was something special.

First of all, the staff were so friendly! Even though my Vietnamese isn't perfect, they were patient and helped me understand the menu. The atmosphere was really relaxed, with locals and tourists alike enjoying their lunch under these big shade trees.

Now, onto the star of the show: the bánh xèo itself. The crepe was unbelievably crispy, but not in a way that shattered everywhere. It held together perfectly, and had this amazing savory flavor. The inside was stuffed with plump shrimp and fresh bean sprouts, and every bite was a delightful combination of textures and tastes. They even had these local greens I'd never tried before that added this whole new dimension of freshness.

Quán có phong cách miền Tây rõ rệt, không gian dân dã, phục vụ thân thiện. Đây là một điểm đến khá phổ biến với khách du lịch, nhưng để giữ chân khách quay lại, đặc biệt là người địa phương, thì cần cải thiện nhiều mặt.

🔻 Về món ăn:

Phần viền bánh giòn ổn, nhưng lớp dưới quá nhiều dầu, khiến bánh dễ ngấy, ăn vài miếng là ngán.

Tỉ lệ bánh – nhân không hợp lý, nhân ít, bánh lớn → ăn không tới, chỉ gặm được phần viền.

Nếu thực sự muốn quảng bá ẩm thực miền Tây đúng nghĩa, món ăn cần tinh chỉnh lại về chất lượng và cảm giác khi ăn.

🔻 Về menu:

Menu hiện tại xuống cấp rõ rệt: giấy ép dẻo bị nhớp, ố vàng, chữ đen trên nền tối rất khó đọc. → Đây là thứ đầu tiên khách cầm khi bước vào, nên rất cần được thay mới – sáng sủa, dễ nhìn, sạch sẽ.

🔻 Một lưu ý nhỏ nhưng đáng suy nghĩ:

Quán hiện thu hút chủ yếu là khách du lịch, còn người dân địa phương gần như ít khi ghé. Điều này phản ánh một phần về chất lượng món ăn và trải nghiệm tổng thể. → Nếu quán muốn phát triển bền vững, không chỉ dựa vào lượng khách "đi ngang qua", thì sự đầu tư nghiêm túc vào món ăn và hình ảnh là điều bắt buộc.

Une expérience culinaire exceptionnelle à Bac Lieu ! Nous avons récemment visité le restaurant Banh Xeo A Mat et cela a été une véritable révélation. Le cadre est charmant, avec une décoration qui vous plonge immédiatement dans l'ambiance vietnamienne authentique.

La véritable star de la soirée était bien sûr le Banh Xeo, une spécialité vietnamienne que vous devez absolument goûter ici. La délicieuse galette de riz croustillante, farcie de crevettes, de porc et de légumes frais, était tout simplement exquise. La texture croustillante associée à la saveur délicate des ingrédients en a fait une véritable explosion de saveurs en bouche.

Le service était également impeccable. Le personnel était chaleureux, attentif et prêt à répondre à toutes nos questions sur le menu. Ils ont également pris le temps de nous expliquer comment manger chaque plat de manière traditionnelle, ce qui a ajouté une touche supplémentaire à notre expérience.
