If you are interested in learning how coffee is made in the Dak Lak region, Aeroco is a perfect spot. If you'd like a hands-on experience picking and roasting your berries and beans, I recommend contacting the farm for a tour November onwards when harvesting begins. I was able to walk-in for a tour for one in English for 250,000 VND. This includes a coffee drink of your choice, where I selected the Combo Si, a flight of 4 variations of coffees valued at 99,000 VND (so the tour itself realistically is ~150,000 VND pending which drink you get). There was plenty of flexibility with the tour, with the option to start or to finish with your drink.

Read moreAwesome hosts who know inside out about coffee and its culture in Buon Ma Thuot. Fascinated by Mr. Tư and his wife’s passion about making quality coffee. We are admittedly not coffee connoisseurs but really enjoyed the coffee tasting section where the hosts demonstrated the proper way to drink Vietnamese coffee (ca phe phin) to preserve the its best flavor.
We have yet to try their cascara tea as they have almost run out of stock by the time we arrived, but managed to wait and get a freshly made bag because luckily the previous group didn’t take everything :-). Heard that their selection process for the tea making is by hand for the best quality so we are very eager to try them out once we get home.
Highly recommended if you’re visiting Buon Ma Thuot for knowing more about Vietnamese coffee scene and buying some premium coffee for yourself...
