We had dinner today at the restaurant. And the truth is that bad. We do not recommend stopping there for visitors to Chau Doc, since there is a much better gastronomic offer in the city, which you cannot miss, and even less so by going to this place.

We ordered a barbecue for two people, and the total price was not clear to us (since barbecue is a variety of meat) and here each meat dish has its price. The meat dishes are small quantities, and in the first round it came with a ridiculous rice dish for two people. And with a series of raw vegetables, which do not contribute anything, as an accompaniment. Understanding in the first meat dish that each dish indicated on the menu as barbecue, you have to pay its price separately, so we decided to order one more meat dish of another variety at least since we were hungry. And from here, the total decline of the dinner: They bring us the second meat again in the right amount for us, and now without its ridiculous rice dish and with the same raw vegetables from the beginning that we had not touched. And furthermore, the fire from the cauldron that is in the center of the table begins to catch fire from the side, affecting the table below. And it is the smell and the smoke that makes us aware of this situation. To which we warned, and while the meat was fully cooked, they came and took out the pot, and they had the brilliant idea of ​​putting out the flames that were coming out of the side with window cleaning liquid. They put it back in the center of the table, the meat rack on top, and nothing has happened here. We got up, we paid for TWO batches of meat (we left practically all of the second batch and also without garnish) and we left.

Hemos cenado hoy en el restaurante. Y la verdad es que mal. No recomendamos parar allí a los visitantes de Chau Doc, ya que hay muchísima y mejor oferta gastronómica en la ciudad, la cual no os podéis perder, y menos por ir a este local.

Pedimos una parrillada para dos personas, y no nos quedó claro el precio total (ya que parrillada es una variedad de carne) y aquí cada plato de carne tiene su precio. Los platos de carne son de cantidades pequeñas, y en la primera ronda nos vino con un plato de arroz ridículo para dos personas. Y con una serie de verduras crudas, que no aportan nada, como acompañamiento. Al entender en el primer plato de carne que cada plato de los indicados en la carta como parrillada, se tiene que pagar su precio por separado, pues decidimos pedir un plato más de carne de otra variedad al menos ya que teníamos hambre. Y a partir de aquí, el declive total de la cena: Nos traen la segunda carne de nuevo en su cantidad para nosotros justa, y ahora ya sin su platito de arroz ridículo y con las mismas verduras crudas del inicio que no habíamos tocado. Y además, el fuego del calderón que está en el centro de la mesa, empieza a prender por el lateral afectando por debajo a la mesa. Y es el olor y el humo el que nos hace percatar de esta situación. A lo que avisamos y en plena cocción de la carne vienen y sacan el calderón, y tienen la brillante idea de apagar las llamas que salían por el lateral con líquido limpiacristales. Nos lo vuelven a poner en el centro de la mesa, la rejilla de la carne encima, y aquí no ha pasado nada. Nos hemos levantado, hemos pagado las DOS tandas de carne (que la segunda la dejamos prácticamente toda y además sin guarnición) y nos fuimos.

No dejamos muchas reseñas pero esta es de manual, para facilitar a los visitantes de esta bonita región con tan buena gastronomía que no se equivoquen en...

Quán Lẩu Dê Quang Quang Chính Hiệu ở số 170 đường Hoàng Diệu, phường Châu Phú B, Châu Đốc đúng thiệt là một chỗ lý tưởng cho mấy ai ghiền món dê mà muốn tìm hương vị đậm đà, kiểu miền Tây mình. Nói thiệt chớ, tui ăn lẩu dê nhiều chỗ rồi, mà cái vị ở đây nó có nét riêng, khó quên lắm nghen.

Lẩu dê ở quán nêm nếm rất vừa ăn, nước lẩu ngọt thanh, nghe mùi thuốc bắc thoảng nhẹ mà không bị nồng, ăn tới đâu là ấm bụng tới đó. Thịt dê thì mềm, không hôi, chắc là được làm kỹ, ướp cũng ngon nên ăn không cần chấm nhiều, vẫn đậm đà. Món dê tái chanh hay dê nướng ngói ở đây cũng đáng thử, làm tới nơi tới chốn, ăn vô là biết quán có tâm.

Không gian quán thì bình dân thôi, rộng rãi thoáng mát, ngồi lai rai với bạn bè là hết sảy. Phục vụ nhanh nhẹn, vui vẻ kiểu miền Tây mình – dễ chịu lắm. Giá cả cũng vừa túi tiền, ăn no nê mà không lo cháy túi.

Nói chung, ai có dịp ghé Châu Đốc mà muốn thưởng thức món dê ngon, đậm vị, thì nên ghé Quang Quang thử một bữa. Bảo đảm ăn rồi...
