I ordered delivery, so I don't know what it's like inside. I also ordered through the website instead of Grab because the menu is slightly different. I couldn't find burgers on Grab.
The large pizza is a US medium in terms of size, but the quality is pretty good; more of an artisan type dough/bake. I tried the Turkish Lamb, which had some seasoning compared to the lamb burger. There wasn't a lot of cheese, so I would have ordered extra cheese had I known. Even though I didn't love it, I felt it was a good pizza. I probably would have liked one of the other ones more. I had half the next day, and it tasted equally good reheated. 205K for a medium 250K/$9.80 for the large.
The lamb burger was done/well done. It wasn't very juicy, a little dry. The meat tasted gamey (like it should), but it wasn't a great lamb burger in opinion. However, just like the pizza, I feel it's pretty high quality, especially considering the price. Some of the better burger shops around usually cost 250K+ per burger.
They didn't have gorgonzola cheese, so they called to ask if I wanted a different one. Knowing my name wasn't Vietnamese, the guy spoke to me in English - which was nice. I believe I settled for brie. 160K/$6.30 for the lamb burger plain + 40K for cheese. It did come with a few fries, separately.
I will try a calzone next time.
The delivery guy also spoke English, if not the same guy. 30K/$1.20 delivery charge...
Read moreI really liked that this place felt very western. I’ve been missing my pizza and burgers from back in the States, and Napoli Pizza gave me that feeling like I took a little trip out of Vietnam just for dinner. The music and overall vibe made me feel at home. Service was super friendly, and I was able to speak English comfortably with the staff, which I really appreciated.
As for the food — I think I made a mistake adding burrata to my pizza. It came out cold (the center was still a bit frozen), and the moisture from the cheese soaked into the crust, so it lost its crisp. I’ve since learned burrata is supposed to be served cool, but not that cold — so that’s partly on me for overloading toppings. I could still tell the pizza itself was legit though; I was born and raised in New York, so I know a decent pizza when I see one.
The seafood pasta was easily my favorite dish of the night, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The burger, on the other hand, wasn’t really for me. The bun was crisp and a bit tough, and I personally prefer mine softer. But to be fair, I was the one ordering a burger at a pizza spot, so that’s on me too.
Overall, I’d definitely visit again, just skip the burger/sandwiches and the burrata on pizza. I’m looking forward to trying their pizza again with a simpler topping...
Read moreThe staff is nice trying their best to make you happy but unfortunately the food isn't as good as the reviews and my expectations. Salmon pizza looks like they only grill the dough and cheese (cheese added in 1/3 of the pizza), then add salmon, fat tomato pieces and the leaves on top not even grilled together. The burrata tomato salad disappointed me so much, the tomato is the one I buy for 5k from the local market on that street, and they charged me for 195k. Pumpkin gnocchi feel like marshmallow without any taste and no sugar. Last but not least mosquito is everywhere they bite my legs and butt. Pineapple juice has no ice, like come on !?!!?! Eventho they gave me the pineapple for free but honestly this meal isn't worth it, speaking of the food quality, location (big containers pass by every 5 mins, super outskirts of HCM) and atmosphere. Not sure if the 5 stars review down there are authentic or this is their first time eating Italian food, the chef and manager should be ashamed...
