Saigon Chic — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

The atmosphere, ambiance and garden decor is great. The food is just ok. We found the service to be NOT so good. I ordered the beef with vermicelli but got the beef with bread (but at least it tasted good). We ordered the garlic bread with cheese but got the garlic bread with bacon. A difference server took it back.. then our original server (who took our order) said that what we had received was the correct order of garlic bread with cheese and that it was supposed to come with bacon. I told him but it had no cheese. He replied that, yes, it had cheese (I know it did not), so I said ok, then I'll eat that one that was made for me. 15 minutes later, he brings us a garlic bread with cheese and says that the cook made a mistake and put bacon on the first one. So overall, we had 2 of 3 orders either entered or made wrong. The desserts seemed interesting but we figured we would not order anything more. FYI.. the tuna salad comes toped with a generous covering of mayonnaise. Also, they don't provide any paper napkins but instead give a wet toilet with each plate.. then charge 2000vdn for each. Beautiful place with ok food, but don't expect...

The place has many green plants and is cool. There is a swimming pool right in the middle of the shop.

The drinks are also quite good. The price for iced coffee is 28,000 VND. The restroom is clean, and there are paper towels provided in a tray.

The only terrible thing about the place is when customers ask the parking attendant, "Do I need to take the parking ticket?" Then the security guard replies, "No need." When the customers leave, they say, "This motobike already took the ticket, for sure i took it." This requires the customers to present the ticket as proof.

Finally, the parking attendant requires customers to provide proof that the motobike is thier. The security guard takes a picture of the documents before allowing the customer to leave. This is a very unprofessional action, and it implies that customers come here with the intention of stealing motorcycles.⚠👎👎( just one parking attendant here)
