Com Pho Viet - Good Local Food — Restaurant in Lâm Đồng Province

Through our tour guide we were brought here to taste some local cuisine! Or rather a blend of local food and Western food, as I have not eaten french fries or broccoli in Vietnam until I was here.

You can choose many meals/sets they had with varying degrees of ‘local-ness’. I chose the ca kho (fish) and was enjoying the familiar, nostalgic taste it brought me.

Our group of twelve people were brought here for lunch by our tour guide while on a day trip tour. The food is prepared daily. It is about 110K Dong per person for non vegetarian option. Mine was a vegetarian meal and it was 50K Dong. Drinks are extra but the tea is free. The service is fast. It was a decent meal. Very kind staff and nice view but unfortunately not very good food at all. I had the vegetable platter which consisted of very oily fried tofu, French fries and spring rolls (nothing like the image on the menu), a soup with no flavour and hard rice. My hubbys pork was also very oily and quite dry. Maybe better to stop off for a soft drink...
