Meh. I was excited to go here to get pizza and some house made beer but was completely disappointed. Woman cooking was about as unpleasant as possible, nobody greeted us or told us where the menu was. Menu does not have prices so we had to ask and it was not easy getting an answer. She told us to get our own drink if we wanted them and at this point we didn't even want to ask about the beer. FOOD: asked for a pizza with meat and got the "thap cam" it's corn, broccoli and some type of ground pork, I thought this restaurant was owned/run by an American? Those toppings are not American. We also ordered the mashed potatoes cooked in the wood fired oven and it was ok. The crust on the pizza was good, crisp bottom and we'll risen dough, not enough sauce. I had high hopes for this place as we drove 30 minutes to get there. We will try the other wood fired pizza down the street next time, hopefully they can fix the issues as this place has huge potential and maybe we will return. ATMOSPHERE: dirty tables, lots of flies and overall dusty, bathroom has a squat toilet and holes in the wall sandwiched between a...
Read moreIf you're in the mood for a delicious wood oven pizza, K'Be's makes pizza that is sure to please you. James, the American owner, says the menu is kept simple so that he and his staff can focus on making high quality food with mainly locally-sourced ingredients. You can either order a meat pizza or a vegetarian one. What I found uniquely wonderful about his pizza was the homemade crust, which is hearty and crispy, but easy to eat. The atmosphere of the restaurant is laidback. It was nice to see locals dine on the food with smiling faces. Prices were reasonable as well. So, I recommend that anybody who wants to eat a good pizza and enjoy a local restaurant atmosphere should visit K'Be's. Take note of business hours...
Read moreAfter our enjoyable up and down up Liang Biang Mountain we stumbled upon this BBQ Pizza joint. The owner James happened to be sitting down and greeted us with a warm welcome. We learned he is an expat from the US who has lived in Vietnam for 12 years. He shared a lot of stories, made us feel at home, and even gave us a tour of his brewery! Ultimately we got to try the beer, vegetable pizza and barbeque pork ribs. All were delicious. It’s not a huge menu, but we heard the mashed potatoes and salad...
