Mũi Né Home — Restaurant in Phan Thiết City

No idea how this place got 5 stars. We went here because of the all 5 star reviews and them posting on Facebook about how they are always sold out.

Just had dinner last Saturday and tbh it was the absolute worst meal I have ever had in Vietnam, coming from someone living in the country for 18 years. Seafood was not fresh. Flavour was weird and just horrible. Service was slow and unresponsive. Ridiculously expensive. Food was not hot. This is home cooking meant for a small family but they tryna serve crowds of tourists. You can even see that they have a small grill to serve about two dozen tables in the guest seating area. This is not designed to scale and clearly cannot scale to serve professionally as a restaurant.

We sent back 2 dishes due to concern of food safety and food not being fully cooked. And we were still charged the full amount without being given a new substitute. We also left about 75% of the food untouched. 4 dishes, 8 oysters and 1 plate of small scallops came out to about 700k. The next day we went a random restaurant, ordered the same amount of food that actually tasted decent, and was only charged about 500k.

Tldr do not go here unless you want to waste money on subpar food. And always trust the locals. Go down to the area near Bờ Kè if you want good food (and fresh seafood) at...

Waste our time and Never come back. Unfortunately, we (party of 2) had a really bad experience at Home 159 HTK Mui Ne Seafood. Don’t know how this place can get 5 star-review in google and high recommendation on Facebook. We went here based on “must-try” recommendations made by previous reviewers on Facebook, Review Mui Ne groups. Just had dinner last Saturday 1/Jul. We ordered fish salad , steamed squid and seafood fried rice . Fish salad is normal, not much special that to be called “signature” as reviews on Facebook. Quán hải sản view biển, có phòng hải sản nếu mọi người muốn hỏi mua kí các hải sản để mang về thì hỏi ở đó luôn. Khu vực bàn ăn bên trong có trang trí đèn led treo và đèn lồng khá xinh xắn. Đây là lần đầu gia đình mình đến ăn và gọi một số món như súp cua, nghêu xào bắp bơ, cơm chiên ghẹ, mực nướng, rau luộc kho quẹt. Theo đánh giá cá nhân thì món mực nướng mình không thích lắm vì có một số chỗ còn vết cháy ăn vào khá đắng. Cơm chiên thịt ghẹ dành cho người có nhân phẩm tốt.. để xúc trúng phần thịt ghẹ, phần cơm tơi và không bị khô, khá ngon. Phần nghêu xào bắp bơ thì anh chị mình nhận xét là khá ít sốt nên hơi thất vọng. Món súp cua rất ngon, ai cũng mê.
