Open Space BBQ — Restaurant in Phan Thiết City

Unfortunately, my experience at this BBQ restaurant fell far short of expectations. I chose this place based on positive Google recommendations, but left deeply disappointed.

The restaurant concept is interesting: each customer grills their own meat on a portable BBQ at the table. We ordered a meat platter of approximately 600g for two people, but what we received was simply unacceptable - about 90% of the meat was pure fat.

When I called over the waitress to complain, I must acknowledge that she was extremely friendly and attentive. Her English was understandable and she tried to explain that "the meat was different, but that's how it is" and that we would enjoy it. Unfortunately, when I tried to grill and eat it, I confirmed it was practically all fat.

After my complaint, the waitress even tried to offer "better meat than this," which only increased my frustration, as I was left with the clear impression of having been deceived initially. Why wasn't the "better meat" served from the beginning?

The only positive note from this experience was, without doubt, the waitress herself. The owner should appreciate this employee, as they have a true gem there - attentive, friendly, and doing her best to remedy a difficult situation.

Amazing experience with my family. There was 7 of us and the tables are usually for 6 people and we wanted to sit by the ocean so they offered to move all the tables for us and set up portable bbq on our table. The food was so fresh and delicious. They changed our bbq grill top multiple times for immaculate grilling. We had beef, pork, seafood, Cajun catfish bake, and scallops on the shell. We also impromtu told the waitress it was my dad’s birthday and they brought out an amazing cake on the fly. And the bathrooms are the cleanest, most air conditioned and coolest I’ve seen in Vietnam and in the states! 10/10 would come...
