I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Saffron restaurant in Banyan Tree Hotel in Vietnam, and I have to say it was a fantastic experience. From start to finish, everything was just perfect.

First of all, the food was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich and complex, and every dish was beautifully presented.

What really made the experience stand out, however, was the amazing service. The staff were all very friendly and attentive, and they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and made some great recommendations, which really enhanced our dining experience.

I had the most amazing experience attending a cooking class at Saffron Restaurant. I made three dishes: Thai satay ruam (chicken and beef satay), massaman nua (beef massaman curry), and moo ob narm phuang (peppered honey pork ribs). These dishes were available on the restaurant’s menu, and I specifically requested them because my husband and I loved them so much during our previous visits. Chef Jindawong was so patient and knowledgeable, with 30 years of experience under his belt. He answered all of my questions with care and even taught me how to make their stunning blue rice and all his cooking secrets! The recipes are the signature dishes of Saffron Restaurant, created by the chef and are truly unique. The entire process took about three hours, and I got to taste the food and bring the rest home. At the end of the course, I received a lovely certificate as well as a recipe book with the dishes I made.
