First I would like to start with the atmosphere, seemingly very authentic, great set up for the meal to come (Decor of bamboo was fun, a great distraction, and “transporting” for me;). The FOOD, on top of tasty, had a presentation that just spells out quality and fresh (and more fun;)! Right before your eyes to consume as you totally please. Wonderful broth to begin with and then possibly doctored to your specific likes... (again super fun!) Had a great meal at Pho Bat Da Vung Tau. They serve their pho in a very hot rock bowl. You can add the meat, noodles, vegetables, and even an egg as you’d like. I really liked the concept. I placed the rare beef (tai) in the broth for just a minute or less and had nice soft meat. Quality seemed very good. The noodles were thicker and chewier than common pho noodles as well. Comfortable chairs & the owner turned the fan on for us .My husband & I both had pho with rare beef. As westerners it was lovely to have it explained to us , the lady serving us was so gracious and clearly wants you to enjoy the meal.
