I had my best summer spending time on this island and a part of it included this place. The atmosphere was stunning with the most mesmerizing view that I could immerse myself in nature while dining with friends. People there were friendly, polite, and helpful, they gave us tea without us asking for it. I've read the review about poor service thus what I experienced was different. All of the servers are the island people by their accents and I've heard about the education system there, if you love the island you should get to know more about it from all perspectives. Overall service was pleasant as they helped me to organize a surprise birthday party for my friends with cakes and flowers, saying it's better than some other places that I have been to with people who have higher education levels. Another thing is that the food was alright. You can't compare the food to where it originally came from it is like you compare Hanoi pho to American pho. Western food needs to be worked on more but as a picky eater, I would say the other Vietnamese dishes were good enough as I was eating them in an underdeveloped place and it’s not fair to compare them to many other options you have in the city. Altogether I would say that I will definitely go back to this place if I have a chance to go back to Phu...
Read moreI visited this restaurant more than a year ago, however the brutality of what I experienced is still fresh in my mind. Upon entering the venue, it looked nice. The staff were friendly. HOWEVER, the prices were astronomically high (even for a tourist destination) We ordered two beers, a plate of fried noodles, fried rice and a plate of oysters. The noodles and fried rice were very disappointing with what I'm sure was frozen seafood. I've had better on the street. And to charge 200,000 VND for Mix Xao Hai San?! Outrageous! But the worst was yet to come. The oysters came out and at first looked okay. However, when I ate one, I realized they were rotten, stinky and putrid. Not fresh like you would expect from a seaside restaurant. We told the waiter, and he luckily took them away and didn't charge us (how gracious!) I would stay far away unless you want to get food poisoning from spoiled oysters and have your wallet drained!

Read moreThis restaurant looks beautiful and is a highlight for the sunset. Unfortunately the owners decided to build a deck that allows people to conjugate and block the whole sunset from the tables. How do you plan to have a beautiful romantic dinner well groups of people continuously block the view and invade your table space for photos. (We paided 1 million deposit for their “best table”) There are also multiple street dogs constantly coming to your table to beg for food. This is okay for a street restaurant but not something trying to be fine dining. The food was mediocre in taste even though i think the ingredient quality was good. This is the most disappointed i have been with a restaurant and the only negative review i have ever left. 1/10...
