Dinh Gia Trang homestay is a marvellous lotus flower in the grey city. It is an oasis of peace and positive energy. As soon as you step in you can feel the power of the garden, so well maintened with a relaxing music all around that invites you to have a rest and sit down for contemplation in every corner. Then you meet the smiley and welcoming face of Vi (who speaks english fluently) and you definetely fell in love with this place. You will be immediately contaminated by her strong personality, joy and love for life and people. She has this rare ability of being both extremely seriously professional in what she does, with the attention to every detail for taking care of her guests, and at the same time very easy going, direct and friendly.
All the buildings are the result of friendship and team work following a typical north Vietnamese architecture, with natural elements, wood, stone, water, bamboo. The fire place under the main patio is always burning purfying cinnamon wood (the region is a big producer of this plant and if you are interested in just ask Vi, she will explain and eventually do her best to make you visit the local plantations). The room is bright, spotlessy clean, with a big king size bed (a special mention to the detail of bed linen, so smooth and pleasant), free Wi-Fi, a big new bathroom, airconditioning (for cooling and heating), kettle, hair dryer and all necessary toiletries. Again you feel so welcomed, confortable and relaxed.
They can provide a laundry service on demand. There is a coffee corner at the reception where you can order various drinks but also delicious fresh smoothies or order good food from a simple menu for all meals (at an honest price) so that you don't even need to think about looking for a restaurant. Trang, who takes care about all the services and gardening, is also a special person. She can't speak english, but she is always at your disposal taking care of your wellbeing. With the translator, her gentle smile, professional kindness and some laughs, the communication becomes anyway very easy!
