D'Lila — Restaurant in Lusaka Province

Visited this restaurant with family last night just an hour before their closing time. We chose to stay outdoor to enjoy dining by the play area. Barbeque starters were extremely delicious especially being a vegan I just fell in love with Paneer Tikka. Also Malai Koftha and the garlic Naans here are finger licking good 😋... Never miss a virgin Mojito if you ever miss this place .. If I start listing out everything we tasted last night I would end up writing an article. In addition to the meal we had delightful waitress with the perfect balance of friendliness and efficiency. For instance, We were feeling cold and we wanted to move indoors after having starters. Even though it was closing time the staff quickly arranged everything inside and made us feel so comfortable... The staff made sure we had everything we needed.

This restaurant is exceptional not just because of their varieties of options or flavourful food but for their reasonable pricing and Play area for children looks so amazing and my Nephew had a good time too.

The service was sooo sooo bad. The menu seems to only have food options in sauces. What I ordered is definitely not what I got in my plate. The people that I was with ordered juices which they said they enjoyed. I asked for king or queen prawns but I got such tiny 🍤 I was in shock. This was accompanied by some dry fries. I was not told how long the food would take. When I called the waiter again he said it only takes 5mins but the food took long, say 20-30mins. Which is not a problem as long as it’s communicated.

I was not asked about the side options at all. Before I could keep up there was already fries served to me and I was on ketovore . Honestly the waiters did not do a good job on the evening of 24th August.

The place is not wheelchair accessible. There are steps all round. No ramps at all, such a hard experience. The rest rooms are hard to access both at the restaurant and the back event place. Definitely not...

A nice car park guided by the Security when you reverse park is available. The decor and the atmosphere as you walk inside to dine greets you with the ever smiling staff.

The Manager is always at hand to guide you with the Menu and the special for the day while the staff taking the orders are also there. A wide range of items can be seen both in the Drinks and Veg as well as non-Veg Food Menu. While they normally ask if you need the items Mild, Medium or Hot, it is better to anyway mention how you like your items served and they serve it very much accordingly with the smiling face.

A very enjoyable place to dine, be it business or personal, also whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner. Be sure to book a table to ensure your reservation is available, as most of the times you might find it...
