Hungry Lion Chelstone — Restaurant in Lusaka Province

Hungry Lion Chelstone is located at the Engen Filling station along Great East Road.

This location is ideal to grab a quick bite on your way home or when embarking on a long journey.

This however is not an ideal place to just "hang out" even though Hungry Lion outlets are known for being meeting spots.

The food is good. It is standard. One thing you can't take away from Hungry Lion is consistency. Their offerings taste the same everywhere (everywhere I have bn at least).

The service is fast (faster than that other place, what's that place...). There is decent room to dine in and the atmosphere is alright.

Because it's at a filling station and cars are coming and going frequently, you can't help but feel you ought to be going somewhere.

I was there for more than 30 min waiting just to be served a burger which even takes less than 5 min. I ordered 2 burger and they only gave me a receipt for one. I asked why isn't there 2 oders showing on the receipt. The reason they gave me was that; another customer came in who changed the order later on so they are trying to balance up...
