It hits that sweet spot between quality and price. It is cheap food. They have a burger that... IF it is done right is really good. You just might have to wait 30 min. to get it. (or 45...). When it is not fresh it is not worth ordering. HL also is unpredictable in its service. At times (90%) it is great! But then there are the times when they forget to cook the chicken and come out and tell you... sorry we just put it in the fryer... after you have been there for 20 min.! LOL BUT - it is about the best value. AND it is 90% of the time, maybe even 95% of the time a good experience. It CAN get insanely busy. I avoid it during those times. But it gets insanely busy because it is a really good product at a really good price. When they are busy - the quality...

Constant misreading of my order, example; today I order a king combo which I had specified should come with thighs and drumsticks. I got breasts and a wing. While one might assume it’s alright since there were big pieces, it misses the point that that is not what I requested for. Going forward the staff should do their best to head the customer’s requests and not their own vanity. If this is done maybe the Matero will be a lot more like The Cairo road, East Park and Novare...
