Made a random, interesting stop in Mazabuka, en route to Livingstone and discovered this place.
The Cafe is a scenic place with all sorts of foods and crafts available. They have a gift shop right before the main entrance to the restaurant area where you can purchase things(gift cards, bags, shoes, earrings etc).
The environment is so calm and clean, apart from the "almost" quiet music that plays in the background, you can't hear much from the surrounding places. You can enjoy your meals, hold conversations or choose to eat quietly looking at the garden view. It's spacious enough and can occupy large groups of people if need be. I recommend taking the time to look around the place as you wait for your food or right after the meal. Shoes off, step on the grass and soak in that good feeling😉
I enjoyed the pepperoni pizza the most! We saw them make the pizza and throw it in the oven, the feeling of having a fresh hot pizza was good. I was happy that they made my Ravioli as creamy as it was, I'm not a big fan of dry pasta, the creamy texture felt rich and savoury. The drinks were fresh and cooling especially the mint lemonade(highly recommend).
The waiters alternated, one got the orders, another brought the drinks and the other one brought the food, it was a little hard to get their names and stick to it. But regardless, they all did great in helping us enjoy our time there. We didn't wait long for anything to be honest, even with the good number of people present, we were not left...
Read moreLet’s go down South 😌. Finally went to Coffeeberry and please, it was worth the wait (whatever I was waiting for) Anyway here’s my review.
Environment : 10/10! The space, the seating options.. perfect! The place has a play area for kids. And also enough space for adults who would like to have a picnic.
Service : 7/10 The waiters were very friendly and welcoming, however I’m not sure if they were understaffed but it was quite hard to get a hold of our waiter at certain points.
Food : 7/10 I did not like the Pepperoni pizza. It was so bland. Also my sticky wings (K135). tasted very basic. I was expecting a ‘wow’ effect. But I did love the beef ravioli (95). That one gave me the ‘wow’ effect indeed! And the prawn pasta. (I think the pasta dishes are the ones here). Their steak was also tasty (K350). The prices were okay, considering the portions of each dish. Most of the dishes were not sharing meals.
Overall, I would like to go back at least 3 more times cause the place is so lovely. It has a gift shop just as you enter with all kinds of things - cook books, African print bags, wooden kitchen utensils etc. and as you enter, you can grab a slice of cake (which my sister is obsessed with so they must be good) or ice cream or wine! 😌

Read moreNestled just off Livingstone Road on the scenic Tanderra Estates in Mazabuka, Coffeeberry Cafe is more than just a pitstop—it's a destination in itself. The cafe welcomes you with a cozy main serving area, offering a broad selection of food and beverages that cater to diverse tastes.
Beyond its culinary delights, which for me included an irresistible pizza, a flavorful game meat pie, and a heavenly Caramel Cheesecake, the cafe also features a charming gift shop and a relaxing spa. Adding to the experience, my visit fell on Zambia's Independence Weekend, and the cafe was adorned with vibrant patriotic decorations.
Importantly for travelers, Coffeeberry Cafe provides clean and well-maintained toilet facilities—a noteworthy advantage for those in need of a hygienic bathroom break during their journey. Families will also appreciate the child-friendly play park, enhancing the venue's laid-back ambiance.
In summary, whether you're heading to or from Livingstone en route to Lusaka, a stop at Coffeeberry Cafe is highly recommended. Between its excellent menu, various amenities, and pristine bathroom facilities, it's a place you'll certainly want to...
