Casa Mia Ristorante Pizzeria — Restaurant in Harare

I and 2 friends went here for a dinner on Friday night , it was absolutely garbage, the strawberry daiquiri was like water , the barman told me we use premix, undrinkable, I told the manager this is undrinkable and she looked at me like that there was nothing between her ears. The pork ribs where boiled until tender and then some kind of BBQ sauce thrown on , absolutely tasteless, no seasoning or care taken . It all looked like a dog's breakfast, with the standard limp chips and a little salad all looking very sad. The lasagna was the worst I have ever had in my life , tasteless meat sauce and undercooked white sauce with out a ounce of cheese or seasoning. No care . The pork chop special and kebabs where a joke ...... I order two mains the other one was squid , it was tender but nothing else, standard limp chips and a brain dead salad ..... There nothing Italian about this restaurant except the name , I read the owners description of her business and she bosted and bragged on and on . Don't believe it for a moment. This...

Horrible experience on Valentines day. I always visit Casa Mia hence why it was my go to for dinner on the 14th, however to my surprise from the time we arrived till we left the service was appaling. The lady at the entrance was rude, I had booked prior, but we could not find my name on the list, she then found a table that was dirty with no proper set up and sat us there, then when I questioned her she was ignoring me and chose to talk to another couple. We then waited more than an hour to get a drink/food but nothing came. we saw 2 couples that came atleast 20min after us get served food and drinks whilst we just sat there.For our own dignity we decided to leave ( most likely noone noticed). ...

I generally like Italian food and this place does not disappoint! The fact that its on the DreamTrips app and points is a plus for me. We went as a large group about two weeks ago (9 adults and 3 children) and were surprised that they apply the service charge rule for numbers above 8 as I have not encountered this in most restaurants in Zimbabwe and given the fact that our toddlers don't eat so much. Anyways, we managed to reach a compromise after ordering 7 pizzas and one kiddies meal and we got pleasantly surprised that we all got pretty full and had lots of left overs.
