The food Well prepared, and met my expectations. The portions are really big. A dish meant for one, can probably feed two. So if you're dining with company, consider picking menu items for the table. They will give you side plates so that you can sample everything. I enjoyed the dumplings with ground beef. The sweet n sour pork is really great too! Amazing food.😊

Service Usually very prompt, with attention to detail. However on my last visit, there was a wedding taking place at the other wing. So the service we got was 1 star. The waiters took long to tend to us, we didn't even receive our 2nd round of drinks. We threatened to leave without paying, after waiting 15 minutes for the bill. It was a hot mess. Please make sure to go when there are no concurrent events. Inconsistent service 😏

Atmosphere The atmosphere is just great, quiet, comfortable seating. And fair decor. You can also get a private room for meetings or intimate dinners. Great atmosphere 🤗

We were looking for a place to have a nice family dinner for about 18 people. China gardens was an options because it has enough space and their private dining rooms are big enough to cater for large crowds. We weren’t too sure about the menu but fortunately one of the staff members informed us we could have the chefs menu option which allows the chef to make a variety of options of his choice that cater to the number of people at $25/plate . The meal was just delicious it was inclusive of meat balls, sizzling chicken, sweet n sour chicken, sizzling beef, stewed beef, egg fried rice, vegetable fried rice, plain rice, chicken and noodles, beef and noodles, fried vegetables, gizzards and vegetables amongst many other that I haven’t mentioned. Check all dishes with " Sizzling" in the name 👌. This is a great place for Chinese food 🥢lovers.China Garden produces the one of BEST Chinese flavors in Zimbabwe. The ambiance is good and there is safe and secure parking.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality, QUANTITY and price of the food here. Really really large portions so, don't make a mistake like I did on ordering too many items. IF YOU ORDER 2 OR MORE DISHES for yourself, make sure you have a blue whale size of tummy to finish it all.
