Nando's Marimba — Restaurant in Harare

I’ve been eating from Nandos marimba for over a decade. so last Saturday was my worst experience ever. Ordered our food and tried to sit by the patio where the manager was holding an inappropriate, personal video call on her mobile. So we decided to move and go sit inside where we found the best seat in the house occupied by Nandos staff having their lunch. Forcing us to sit by the other table which wasn’t even clean. we were disappointed and asked to cancel the sit in for a takeaway and we were told they had already dished into plates. I then asked the waitress to remove from our site the yellow bucket used for cleaning that was on display next to the salt shakers and tomato sauce bottles and I was told that is where it belonged. in disgust I demanded a takeaway bag to pack my food. no way I was going to enjoy my Nandos looking at dead flies next to a dirty bucket. after I packed my food and was about to leave I felt I had to see the manager and I was directed to the very same lady who was on her video call earlier. as I began to explain my disappointment with the service she began to raise her voice at me and insult me with swear words before storming off to the kitchen. I couldn’t believe it then I ordered them to take their food and give me my money back. how could I be paying my hard earned dollars to be given the worst service ever and to be insulted, as a customer, by management, in Nandos? An employee called Collin was apologetic but I remain...

I love Nandos but this branch is awful. Their staff are all over the place instead of doing their jobs. They are not professional and the food is not well done especially their chicken burgers. On several occassions the meat was not well prepared. Their chips are like left overs you will only eat half of your portion the rest are either burnt or not properly peeled. I have stopped going here because of this I hope...

I like the outlook and interior design of the place. The thing about this place is there will never a point when you will find the place crowded. Perhaps it's not the usual go to place for everyone looking for a place to chill but I guarantee you that you will get as much privacy as you can possibly get due to the positioning and or setup of the place Complaining about the food would just be borderline...
