Not sure why it's referred to here as El Retiro. It's only referred to as Pinewood Estates on property & on the map. It's a beautiful mansion on the outside with amazing landscaping. Currently cannot go inside, presumably due to covid.

Enjoyed El Retiro almost more than The Bok Tower grounds. Well maintained facilities including the 1930's era house furnishings. The gardens surrounding the house were also well maintained and were appealing to walk through.

El Retiro is an excellent ad-on tour when you go to Bok Tower Gardens, especially around Christmas when they decorate it for the season. The docents add a lot to the tour with their interesting historical interpretations.

We could not get enough of El Retiro/Pinewood. The tour hosts were so friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Gorgeous and interesting location. Well worth the trip and highly recommend!

Beautiful home. I miss the Tangerines though. They should hire the Story Companies to re-set all that citrus
