Awesome place, I do not follow racing at all but had a great time. Top place for me was seeing a alcohol drag car get to 272 MPH on the quarter mile. It was also awesome to see the other cars doing wheelies off the line and see NOS cars in person, I even spotted a Tesla Cybertruck driving around the parking lot. Was only visiting for 1 day during "REV Fest" in July but had a great time, would visit again. The grandstand bleachers had a TON of open space to watch without crowding (was almost empty during my time there) but had no shade so be sure to bring sunscreen if needed. Also note, especially with youngsters, consider hearing protection I did not bring any but I see many that did, and I think it would have been a smart idea considering how loud some of those alcohol drag cars are.

Went to BIR for the AMA Superbike races. The racing itself was excellent. The BIR facility is run down. The camping is expensive for poor condition and services $50 per person. (State parks have better bathroom and showers!). Should be more like $40 per tent than $50 each. Bathrooms were not at all clean and the trashes were full on Friday night and not picked up thru the weekend. Showers are in creepy, badly maintained trailers. There aren't grandstands at the start/finish line and many corners. Some grandstands don't have speakers that work. Very few food vendors (trucks or stands) on site at all. Really poorly thought out traffic flow around the pits and main road means racers, crew, spectators, and car traffic are all interfering with one another.

Thanks to all of the PGI members that helped put on an amazing display of fireworks and drones on 8/9/2024. The show was absolutely incredible! However, the crew at BIR was NOT equipped, nor prepared for the massive number of people arriving for the show. It took well over an hour of waiting in long lines of traffic before we could even reach the ticketing/entrance area. Getting out after the show was done was also a challenge, but not quite as bad as the wait to get in. Hopefully the organizers at BIR learned from this event and will be better prepared for large-scale events in the future.
