Gjiri i Midhjeve — Attraction in Bashkia Sarandë

Beautiful bay, wonderful views, crystal water. We were at the end of May, the water was a bit cold but it was bearable. Locals jump from the nearby cliffs, apparently it is deep in some places. Stones in the water covered with algae and grass. Unlike in Durres or Vlore. Better to wear shoes. It could be slipy. The beach is supposedly private, but you only pay for the umbrella and 2 sunbeds. Here it costs 10 euros for the set. The surroundings have their own charm, but like in Albania, it is dirty in places, there is a lot of garbage (no garbage bins), and the toilet is available only in a hotel located a little higher. This place is beautiful but unfortunately the restaurant and beachbeds are a total rip off. They ask 1500 lek for 2 chairs & umbrella. Everywhere else is the price 1000 lek. The same counts for the prices of the restaurant, a mixed salad is 600 lek. The average price somewhere else is 300 lek. A small Koce fish is 1400 lek. The fish wasnt fresh. The restaurant is the owner of the beach beds, there are better places where you don't pay for a beach bed is you order food.

The beach is quiet, even on Saturday. Because of these ridiculous prices. I think they don't understand how tourism works. Many tourist walked away. The blond lady with curly hair doesn't now how to provide normal service and isn't honest.

Perfect beach. Free parking. Price — 1000 lek or €10 for two sunbeds and an umbrella. The water is crystal clear, with soft white pebbles. The entry into the sea is steep, but it actually reduces the chances of hurting your feet on big rocks. There’s pleasant, quiet music playing.
