We made a reservation here after a friend of mine recommended me this place. Parking is outside the restaurant in the evening still possible. The staff tried to make a connection with us, but still very distant. We ordered first plates and the main dish. Everything came in around 30 minutes and we were “forced” to eat fast and not enjoy the moment. The restaurant wants to be gourmet, but the combination of the food didn’t meet my expectations referring to price/quality/quantity. The fish soup was enough and okay 👍🏼. As antipasto we took filled calamari, which was okay, the vegetables salad with five cherry tomatoes in it and a shrimp “saganaki”. When we ordered the shrimp saganaki we were expecting it cooked with cheese, but it (it was literally one or two little sliced shrimps) came raw with some creamy not tasty cheese on the side. As main dish we had sea bass, which was only a third/fourth of the whole fish and served with couscous. I couldn’t taste the fish at all and for less than the price you get the whole fish somewhere else with much better taste. After 45 minutes we were ready to leave. There are definitely better ways and places to give away your...
Read moreIf I could put 10 stars to Harmony , I would. The place is very elegant and with a great view. They have a great selection of wines. We were recommended an Albanian white wine that was very well balanced and fresh, great for the summer nights. Our server was helpful and authentic (he spoke Spanish, English and some French). He guided us through our choices and meals, really over the top. And the food. The food was not good, it was excellent. You can feel the technical connaissance, great executions, and a variety of perfectly equilibrated flavors that gave us the best dinner we had during our trip to Albania. We had the pleasure of meeting the chef and you can feel in his words that not only he has incredible knowledge, but is also a real passionate. If you are in Saranda, Albania, and love gastronomical food, you must try Harmony....
Read moreMy family had a wonderful and tasty time trying a variety of plates at Harmony this past week. We saved it for the last stop of our trip in Sarande as a final fancy night dinner. The ambience and vibe is quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The chef utilizes gourmet technique and knows how to play with flavor, colors and presentation. This is my fourth time here over the years and it has maintained its quality from the dedicated chef and waitstaff. Only downside is they are hesitant to publish their menu for people to check before they arrive. The variety is enough that our family was fine to find many options we like. From this season, as of September: we highly recommend the fish balls and Tartama for starters. For mains we liked best the oven calamari and tuna with artichoke. Soooo good, can’t wait...
