MUZEU DIOQEZAN SHKODER-PULT — Attraction in Shkodër Municipality

I visited Shkoder-Pult Diocesan Museum on November 6, 2024. The museum is well exhibited. The only disappointment was that all the video exhibits (one downstairs and a couple more upstairs) were turned off. I asked the lady from whom I boughy the ticket about the video exhibits, and was told that they cannot be turned on, because she only works there to sell tickets. She then said that her boss is the only person who can turn on the videos and he is oversea in America! Piccolo museo,ma ben organizzato e "sentito". Raccoglie le testimonianze archeologiche,artistiche,storiche e umane del cristianesimo della diocesi,le quali sono soprattutto superstiti alle repressioni del regime,e assumono un valore doppio,culturale e anche sentimentale. Inoltre ci sono foto degli anni 90(che sembrano di un secolo fa)a illustrare la ripresa del culto post regime. Tutto e'inoltre spiegato dai pannelli. Troverete,tra le varie cose, antichi frammenti di bassorilievi appartenenti a chiese che oggi non esistono piu'. Alcune avevano una fondazione tardo antica e medievale (e mi chiedo quale ruolo potrebbe qui l'archeologia.... ). Ci sono anche quelle splendide croci d'argento portate anticamente dalle donne cattoliche. Ma si trova qui anche quella semplicissima ma commovente immagine della madonna con bambino logora a furia di essere stata piegata e tenuta in tasca nascosta ! Le custodi sono delle ragazze...
