Note to solo female travelers: You may expect that an art museum would be a nice, harassment-free place to visit, but it is not. Most of the employees are circumspect and do their jobs, but there is one guy who will try to lure you into a closed off stairway "to see the big Napoleon painting," or offer to show you the view from the closed terrace. If you go with him, he will try to make some moves on you. Others will ask you if you are married, and if your answer is yes, you will then get interrogated about where your husband is. It is a shame because this negative experience really spoils what could otherwise be a nice visit to see a beautiful collection of art.
