A visit to the church of Santa Coloma is a must for anyone visiting Andorra. If staying in Andorra la Vella, it's possible to walk to Sant Coloma, or alternatively use regular buses. To enter the church you will need to buy a ticket from Espai Columba for €7 or €3.50 with a PassMuseu, the ticket gives access to Espai Columba as well. The light show in the apse is particularly memorable and worth a visit alone! My guide was amazing and full of information - tha k you!

Old church in Andorra la Bella dating to the 8th century. Unique in that it has a round tower; could not visit inside as we were there on a Monday and they are closed on Mondays. It is my understanding that even when open, the tower is inaccessible. Still spectacular.

Breathtaking location.. the time seems to be frozen in the late Roman Empire.. when I stepped inside I felt like I stepped back in time.. and everything is located just some steps away from civilization- from a crowded modern town area
