Shoal Bay, nestled on the east coast of Anguilla, is a coastal gem that captivates visitors with its pristine beauty. Here’s a glimpse into this idyllic beach:

Turquoise Waters and Champagne Sand:

Shoal Bay boasts a two-mile stretch of powdery, pinkish-hued white sand. The azure waters are so clear that they seem to merge seamlessly with the sky.

As you step onto the beach, the vibrant colors envelop you, creating a surreal paradise.

Swimming and Strolling:

Whether you’re a seasoned swimmer or a leisurely beachcomber, Shoal Bay caters to all. The gentle waves invite you to take a refreshing dip.

Beach walking here is a delight. The soft sand massages your feet as you explore the shoreline.

The “Heart” of Shoal Bay:

The central area, affectionately known as the “heart” of Shoal Bay, is where visitors typically park and access the beach.

Here, you’ll find a cluster of restaurants, bars, and hotels lining the shore. It’s the perfect spot to savor local cuisine or sip cocktails by the water.

Tropical Sunset Oasis:

At the quieter end of Shoal Bay lies Tropical Sunset Restaurant and Bar. This hidden gem offers tranquility away from the bustling crowd.

Their pina coladas, made from scratch, are a must-try. Pair them with fresh seafood treats for a delightful beachside lunch.

Water Sports and Exploration:

Shoal Bay isn’t just about sunbathing. It’s a hub for water sports like snorkeling, kayaking, and diving.

As you explore, keep an eye out for the massive locust tree, locally known as ‘stinking toes’ due to its pungent scent when cracked open.

The Bend and Beyond:

Near “the bend”, Shoal Bay’s beauty reaches its peak. The view of the turquoise expanse against the pink sand is simply breathtaking.

Take a leisurely stroll along the entire beach, from west to east, and let the natural splendor unfold before you.

In summary, Shoal Bay is more than a beach—it’s an experience. Whether you’re sipping cocktails at Tropical Sunset or snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters, this top-ranked Anguilla beach leaves an indelible mark on your...

I am a lover of the beach and Shoal Bay Beach is by far the best beach in the world. It is just miles long of powdery white sand surrounded by turquoise clean waters.

I felt like I was in a dream while visiting this beach. The water felt amazing and walking on the beach I felt like I was walking on clouds. The sand is so fine and powdery it is unbelievable. I wish I could spend all my days here just relaxing and soaking up all this goodness.

One of the best things about this beach is that it is totally free so I come and hang out every chance I got during my...

Best beach I have ever been to! Water is crystal clear sand is white. We paid 10 dollars for 2 beach chairs and an umbrella which isn't bad. Beach was pretty remote so not many people were there which was great. Only a few things are on the beach one hotel and probably 4 beach restaurants. We stayed in St Maarten and traveled to Anguila on the ferry from Marigot and grabbed a taxi right at the Port. Our driver Jason was amazing! If you need a taxi at the Port ask for Jason and tell him Francisco from Cleveland Ohio...

@onegrloneworld What’s your favorite beach you’ve been to while traveling? 🌊The ocean is my happy place 🥰 So I’m always thinking about traveling to destinations with great beaches! Here are my top 5 beaches so far, in no particular order: 🏖 Thousand Steps Beach, @visitlaguna 🏖 Grande Riviere, Martinique 🏖 Shoal Bay, @anguilla_tourism 🏖 Pfieffer Beach, Big Sur @visitcalifornia 🏖 Playa Isla Verde, @discoverpuertorico Honorable mention goes to this beach in @loscabostourism! It’s called Playa Palmilla, and there were mostly locals hanging out there. Imagine beautiful rock formations, warm water, and music pumping from family gatherings 🥰 My kinda vibe!
