Впечатления от озера можно поделить на два части: 1 - природа. Это высокогорное озеро - самое большое пресноводное озеро на Кавказе. Вокруг леса, рядом монастыри, внесенные в список Юнеско, шикарные виды. Отличный климат, даже в августе здесь нет испепеляющей жары. В водах озера водится форель, которая теперь под угрозой исчезновения. 2 - инфраструктура, и ощущение, что после распада СССР мало в нее вкладывали. Береговая линия не широкая, есть платные и бесплатные пляжи, но они не отличаются особо и очень грязные. Оборудование, особенно для переодевания допотопное, лежаки в августе 2023 стоили 2000 драм.
