Absolutely not recommended. We visited this museum today and had an extremely unpleasant experience. The museum director was openly aggressive—not only towards us, the visitors, but also towards her own colleague, the tour guide. She insulted the guide in front of us, creating an uncomfortable and tense atmosphere. Although the guide was not very knowledgeable and clearly unprepared, she tried to compensate and be helpful when she realised we were dissatisfied. Unfortunately, her efforts were met with hostility from the director, who seemed stuck in a Soviet-era mindset—rude, controlling, and dismissive of basic courtesy. The entire visit felt like we had walked into a place where outdated authority and disrespect dominate, rather than hospitality and professionalism. If you are looking for a cultural or educational experience, we strongly advise you to avoid this museum.

What’s more concerning is that no tickets or receipts were provided, which raises questions about transparency. Our dissatisfaction stemmed from the lack of educational value in the tour. The guide simply demonstrated the artifacts without clearly explaining what they were or how they worked. For a group of Year 7 students, this approach was ineffective and failed to engage them or support their learning. We are also disappointed by the inaccurate portrayal of our behaviour. At no point did we interrupt the tour to “play” or show disrespect. Our comments were based on concern for the children’s experience and the overall quality of the visit. We never asked for special treatment. Our only expectation was a competent, age-appropriate presentation—something all visitors, regardless of background, should receive. We kindly ask that you refrain from spreading misinformation and instead consider using feedback like ours to improve...
