Had a surprise birthday lunch here for a friend. There were 10 of us. We had a very disappointing experience. We ordered pizzas for lunch with a few sides. The sides and 1 x pizza came out. After that, we waited another 45 minutes and no other food came out. We asked a young staff member and she retook the order after informing us they had lost our original order. Another staff member then came out to our table and took the order a third time and advised us that there is a known issue with group orders and this happening (if it's a known issue, you should fix it or take orders using an alternative method). After waiting another half an hour, the other pizzas came out. They had made a mistake and two of the pizzas were wrong and they had to go and remake them which was another 20-30 minutes. Noone in the group ate at the same time and we waited over 2 hours in the end for food. Despite the ongoing mistakes, the only peace offering made was a free bottle of wine. The younger staff need some retraining in customer service. They were not particularly friendly and seemed miserable to be there. There were no real apologies for the issues and it felt as though we were treated as an inconvenience. Given the price point of the food, it wasn't anything special. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything to rave about. Would not recommend going here for anything other than a glass of wine. Very...

The worst food & service I’ve had in a long time. Extremely disappointing given the price point. Ordered at 12:45, it’s currently 2:20pm and still waiting on someone’s starters while others have been given their starters and mains (mains were brought out PRIOR to starters). The garlic pizza was brought out with cheese despite not saying so on the menu. Multiple drink orders were wrong. Mains did come out together and made it extremely awkward while some were eating and others still waiting. It took over an hour after ordering to get olives!! Many dishes were cold as well, given the wait it should have been super hot and fresh. One persons steak was ordered medium rare and came out extremely well done. The service staff clearly couldn’t care less about their job. A young girl with brown hair continually ignored our table when we attempted to wave her down to ask about where starters were after almost 2hrs. We were met with eye rolls when finally spoken to. Other staff members looked constantly angry and frustrated at both customer and each other. We are typically extremely forgiving and understanding, however, the restaurant was not busy with countless free tables which should not warrant a two hour wait, poor quality food and such bad service

10/10 would not recommend. Service was atrocious, food terrible and the wait has left us going elsewhere for dessert as we don’t want...

We recently popped into esilio on our way home from a family day out. The experience from the second we walked through the door was exceptional, our wine tasting was even offered to us to be taken outside so the kids could then play out there ! That in itself was perfect. Megan’s customer service was amazing and memorable with thorough knowledge and information on each wine that was poured. The food was beautiful and a real hit for the kids too! We ended up booking Mother’s Day here (a few weeks later) The event that was hosted here was beautiful, aesthetically beautiful and the whole vibe was amazing! Hats off to the service from all the workers that day- despite it being super busy we still felt like our experience was of high standard. Also that chocolate tarte was absolutely the best thing we have ever eaten!! Once the event was over the staff said we could go outside to enjoy our drinks so the kids could go for a run around and for us to sit and relax a little longer ! Thank you Esilio- we will be back...

A wonderful hidden gem not too far North fr the CBD. The wines are lovely & a nice range, Best wood fired pizzas in Adelaide imho (gluten free base pizza available if req’d). Interesting pasta menu, breads & array of wines, spirits & sangria. A surprise complimentary slice of birthday cake for the guest of honour w candle & ice cream very generous in this day & age. More like sitting with family & friends than a commercial winery / restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyable place to visit. I do hope Harry (vigneron) may venture into “fortified wines” in the future. Ty to all the courteous & friendly staff. Definitely will be back

A dissapointing meal. We had the calamari. The coating was quite bland and tasted of flour with hardly any seasoning. I actually left half of it which is unusual for me. The chips were nice. The salad (some kind of coleslaw) had an unpleasant tasting dressing. We sat outside, and to add to the experience we had people’s children screaming and running past our table which was actually on a raised and fenced part of the outside area. Like trying to eat in a kindergarten. No consideration from the bogun parents or the staff to help us enjoy a peaceful meal. We had intended to do a wine tasting but changed our minds.

Recently attended a baby shower and today threw my mum a surprise 60th. Great venue location, views and set up. We utalised the undercover outdoor area was just bliss given the 26 degree day and a nice breeze. The food was delicious everyone complimented the food and service was very efficent given the quantity of people. Also today the live music and bean bags were an absolute hit! Thank you for a great Sunday. See you soon. 🍻
