Beautiful winery on the Gawler / One Tree Hill road in South Australia. Well set up for large gatherings and small. Large undercover area to stay out of the weather, large lawned area which can, also, be used for over flow if tables run out. Absolutely, wonderful valley views to the rear of the winery. Plenty of parking. Nice modern touches everywhere. Tasting area is a good size and there is quite a selection of wines to choose from both red and white. Food is platters or pizzas. Both are quite large and very tasty! They represent excellent value for money. There are two time slot for eating so make sure you book according to what's needed. Mostly, won't be a problem as it, probably, won't be booked out but ALWAYS check beforehand! Staff and the owners are extremely friendly and accommodating. Although we thoroughly enjoyed our wonderful bottle of Pinot Grigio I do like a beer as well, occasionally, even at a winery. This is the only minor shortcoming as there is only one craft beer and that's a Toffs Pilsener. Maybe, a couple of craft IPA's or APA's, as well 🤔 could be a welcome addition. 😊 Still, we thoroughly loved our afternoon here and highly recommended it to...

I came to the winery on recommendation from others and it was my first time attending. I went with my partner at about 1.30pm on Sunday 19 September 2021 and not near closing time. Upon entry, the guy behind the bar asked me what I wanted. I said I'd like a tasting and as I said that, the girl next to him just stood there shaking her head at me. He responded in a curt and unapologetic tone saying "No, we aren't doing tastings because you can't stand and drink and we aren't offering seated tastings". No further comment. So I asked, "Well, can we have something to eat then?" He responded with "Yeah just find a seat where you want." We sat down outside but then decided to leave shortly after. The guy had acted like I'd asked him to go to the bathroom behind the bar. He had zero manners and was not welcoming at all. We felt like we were imposing and for a hospitality establishment, we found this really poor. We went elsewhere, where we were greeted with a smile and offered great service and seated tastings. It's not that hard. If I owned your winery, I would have sacked him on the spot. Love to try your wines and food, but not with that...

Went for my friend’s birthday — both of us are coeliac with severe allergies to gluten. We made this very clear when ordering two platters (cheese and antipasto), and were assured multiple times by staff that they would be gluten free.

When the platters came out, we asked again to confirm they were gluten free — and were told yes, so we started eating. Then they brought out a bowl of GF crackers mixed with gluten crackers (cross contamination!!). We started to feel unsure, so went back to the register to check — only to be told the crackers weren’t gluten free… after we had already eaten them.

Only one platter was refunded, and we were told they’d bring us a new cheese platter — which never came as well as not a single apology from management to either of us. Two other people from our group went to speak with a manager and were met with rudeness and disrespect, including the ignorant comment: “We’ll see how the girls go.”

Both of us have now gone home severely unwell and extremely upset. This service does not take allergies seriously, and was nothing short of...

Watery cold and low quality coffee, margarita is same level with a Aldi frozen margarita and $30, glasses and bottles are plastic, plates are disposable. The owner old man is very rude when we asked for an external power outlet to charge our EV saying no, no, no it is illegal even not trying to understand and proposing another solution or trying to help. He then came to our table when we complained about his behaviour to a waiter and had an argument with us. Very bad experience.
