I love that they have made something of this area. The flying foxes are so slow, some swings with backs for little kids would be great and some shade over the areas of the slides and swings. The slides were burning hot in 22 degrees today so if there is no shade in summer there will be burns for sure! I know there are trees but they aren't grown yet and the arvo sun is a killer and will never get tree shade there due to the car park. I know this is a nature playground but I think the tree stumps around the hammock swing need to be filled in. They are perfect for snakes and spiders and little children's arms. I was really surprised to see them hollow.

I love the fresh water and clean toilets. I love the stream through the middle, that's so fun for the kids.

Pretty good here, just feels like it's not very young child friendly.

Oh and the long slide hurts everyone I've seen on it! It's a bit rough...

This is such a special place for families. The playground is amazing, full of slides, climbing areas, and little corners where kids can explore and let their imagination run free. It’s more than fun, it’s a space where children can learn about nature, connect with the environment, and discover the world around them.

The park is very family-friendly, with ample parking, clean toilets, picnic areas, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. It’s perfect for a weekend outing, family gatherings, or meeting friends, giving everyone a chance to spend meaningful time together in nature.

Being here reminds me how important it is to share moments with loved ones, let children play and learn, and enjoy the beauty of the natural world. It’s a place that inspires connection, curiosity, and joy...

The sun has some bite to it here that will go once the beautiful trees that have been planted grow. In saying that there are plenty of opportunities for shade in the under cover areas. This is such an incredible and huge playground that you could easily spend all day here and still have more to do. Very spaced out so I imagine having children of different abilities or ages may make it hard to watch them at the same time but it is...

What an amazing and fun place for people of all ages! The seemingly endless natural adventure play features are second to none. Multiple slides of all sizes, climbing and obstacles, swings, flying fox (!), walking paths, spots for quiet relaxation, barbecues, tables, toilets (with parent room) and so so much more. Glenthorne Adventure Playground really is the best of the best!

Great new playground. Lots of different things to do - water play, various slides, monkey bars, balancing areas, double flying fox, little tunnels and plenty more. Lots of barbecue facilities and clean toilets. Ample parking and the parking spots are spacious making it easy to get your toddler in and out.
