Golden Chicken — Restaurant in Adelaide

Best chips I have ever had. Came here not expecting much as the place could do with an update, but the chicken was very juicy and fish was cooked to perfection. Salads looked appetising and there was a large range of drinks. Overheard a conversation where one of the younger staff took a man's order. He wanted a beef schnitzel pack, I think. After a few minutes he was on the phone, and I over heard him saying "Oh, the chicken one? Yeah, okay." He then called the girl over, asking if she was making him a chicken schnitzel pack. When she said no, he accused her of not listening to him properly, and the poor girl immediately apologised. After he left I heard her discussing it with the owner- obviously she knew that he was in the wrong, and I applaud her for handling the situation so calmly. They evidently have good staff, and my food was delivered within 5 minutes. But, as mentioned above, the place could do...

I started coming to Golden chicken after another reviewer said I should give it a go because they have the best chips.....and they weren't lying!

Perfectly cooked chips with the right amount of salt. Clean serving areas, great selection on the menu and staff are friendly. I don't like to go anywhere else now. Although I just go for their awesome chips, I have branched out a little and got some battered and crumbed fish, and it was cooked to perfection The fish just melts in your mouth.

Keep up the great work because you can't get any better.

Went in to get a chicken and there was a trainee on pleasant girl charged me more than the actual price only $1 but let it slide seeing she was training then tried to cut my chicken into 8 and destroyed it complete mess felt sorry for her as the boss, owner, manager who ever he was just stood there watching didn’t offer to show her how to cut the chicken just let her go and make a mess of it. He over heard the conversation that I was charged $1 more but didn’t care didn’t offer to give me my $1 back completely useless boss or whatever he is.
