Jervois Street Reserve is a versatile and family-friendly park with plenty to offer for all ages in a butterfly paradise. The fenced-in playground ensures a secure area for younger kids, complete with water play, slides, swings, and a sandpit. For older children and adults, open lawn spaces for ball games or rollerblading, and exercise areas. The park also features picnic areas with undercover seating, leafy shaded spots, public barbecues and even built-in chess and table tennis tables—just remember to bring your own pieces and rackets. Public toilets are conveniently located near the play equipment, and seating is scattered throughout for added comfort. Street parking can be a bit challenging during peak times, but the park's variety of options makes it well worth the visit. A great spot for families and groups looking to enjoy the outdoors!

Fenced in areas are secure for the youngsters. Open areas for the exercise areas and lawn to kick a ball or roller blade. Seating scattered around, leafy shady areas with under cover picnic benches. Builds in chess table and table tennis area, just bring your own pawns and rackets. Public toilets close by the play equipment. Street parking can difficult in peak times.

Large reserve with many options in the space. Public toilets available. Public bbqs, only one was working last time we used them. Fenced off playground with water play, slides, swings and sandpit. Large race track circling the whole reserve. 2 undercover seating areas located at opposite ends of the reserve.

Park has good layout with enclosed play area for young kids, but lacks in other areas. The flying fox has uneven handlebars and is very steep. When you lift it up to the top it slides back down. It is very tall and I struggle to reach it as a 1.7m tall person. Those handlebars are hard to use and very slippery with scratches all over it. It’s shape makes it uneven and causes kids to fall easily. It makes it more unsafe that when they fall they fall down 2 metres. I fractured my arm in the past doing this. The adult gym equipment is very difficult to use with the distance between the foot stepping section being really hard to use and having to do the splits just to use it. Getting rid of the water pump in the younger inclosed zone was upsetting. It makes the sandpit feel dull without it. The whole playground only has fencing on one side which is pointless and unsafe for kids as there are two roads right next to the playground. Wooden equipment is very slippery and hard to hold on to. The ladder for the monkey on the outside making it practically impossible to get to the bars. The floor for the basketball court is uneven. It makes it hard to play games on it. Overall the playground is okay but it has a lot to work on. I preferred it as a...

Great park to be at. Children young and older have separate play areas.Very young are especially catered for with security fencing and gates to contain the very young safely. Plus a multitude of devises and situation to explore. Covered seating and tables at both North and South ends of park. Barbeques located at North end. Park and Play area tree lined and beautifully landscaped. Convenience located at North end extremely modern and self cleaning..There is a walking riding scooting running path around the The Park which is 280 metres in length with distances marked for child racing...I find it great to walk around as the surface is very smooth bitumen compared to the uneven footpaths in the area. On days when it's sunny is usually filled by families with young and older children...with Jervois Street being wall to wall vehicles as its is the best most popular park in South...
