Hidden Gem with Fresh Food and Welcoming Atmosphere!

Discover the Front Page Cafe, a hidden gem that has quickly become my favorite spot in the area. This unassuming café deserves all the recognition it can get for its exceptional offerings and inviting ambiance.

From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with warm smiles and a vibrant atmosphere. The bustling nature of the café adds to its charm, instantly making you feel at home. The friendly and attentive staff ensure that every customer is taken care of with genuine hospitality.

The menu at the Front Page Cafe is a treasure trove of fresh and wholesome food. Whether you're craving a hearty breakfast, a satisfying lunch, or even wood-oven pizza, they have you covered. Each dish showcases their commitment to using quality ingredients and emphasizing freshness.

What makes the Front Page Cafe even more intriguing is its rich history. Established in 2016, it pays homage to its roots as Forbes news agency, which adds an extra layer of authenticity and community connection. The owner and operator, Jak, grew up in the Forbes complex, and his family's experience in the South Plympton Bakehouse further contributes to the café's dedication to excellence.

One standout feature of the Front Page Cafe is its locally roasted coffee. As a coffee enthusiast, I was delighted by the meticulous attention given to crafting the perfect cup. The aroma and flavor were exceptional, enhancing the overall dining experience.

I'm already eagerly anticipating my next visit to the Front Page Cafe. Their commitment to serving the community is evident in their seven-day operation, offering breakfast, lunch, and wood-oven pizza. It has become more than just a café; it's a bustling hub where locals and visitors gather, indulge in delicious food, and create cherished memories.

In conclusion, if you're in search of a place with fresh food, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere, look no further than the Front Page Cafe. This hidden gem will surpass your expectations and leave you longing for more. Don't miss out on this delightful culinary experience.

On 24/04/2025 had placed via Uber Eats from The Front Page. I ordered a large flat white coffee, sourdough toast and a granola bowl. In the bag that was placed at my front door by the deliverer: there was no granola bowl; the coffee cup lid had detached and the contents had entirely split in the bag, soaking the toast, which was inedible. No lid was provided for the jam portion provided with the toast. This is absolutely appalling. The delivery person would not answer my calls. I have reported the matter to Uber Eats, but I also tried in contact The Front Page, who had clearly thrown together the order with an absolute lack of care. The telephone number 0882970333 (publicised widely on all of the cafe’s online promotional materials) is not functioning. I have tried to contact the cafe both via their online message facility on their website and via Facebook messenger. They have not responded. My summation of this disgraceful customer service is that the culpability must be shared by both the cafe and Uber Eats. The Front Page cafe is one of my locals, and I frequent it regularly. Due to the complete lack of responsiveness on the part of the cafe, I will not frequent this...

Just some suggestions from a customer. The food is enjoyable somewhat, but the overall service experience seems to be uplifted, even when there are plenty of staff members on the floor. The atmosphere during peak hours can also feel a bit disorganized, and it seems like a more experienced hand is needed to manage customer flow effectively. I've also noticed a few issues with cleanliness, such as tables and chairs that appeared not to have been properly cleaned and a presence of cotton lint on the water glasses and coffee cups. I understand that businesses everywhere are facing challenges with inflation. But that doesn't mean people will stop eating and going out. I believe that having a skilled manager on the floor, especially during busy times, would make a significant difference. This would help ensure the service and cleanliness standards are consistently high. This isn't just about grabbing a quick bite; it's about providing a great customer experience that sets you apart. Or else there are drive thrus and fast food chain. This feedback is offered with the best intentions from a customer who truly values your business and hopes to see it grow and succeed. No business...

Latest review November 2022.... The Front Page Cafe is now really smokin' and a great spot. They got their coffee socks pulled right up and now serve great coffee! Food variety is awesome. Fresh and tastes great! Full on 5 star now! Plus you will be pleasantly surprised by the prices. Excellent value for 💰 ☺️ Previous 3 star review 2021 .....Good position. Serves a variety of food, beverages and pizzas. To be honest, I would like to see them pull their coffee socks up a bit. Could get a better bean I think, coffee presently is nothing to write home about and given that there is a coffee shop or pop up on almost every main road in Adelaide, I suggest The Front Page Cafe seriously examine their coffee quality and shot quality. Constructive criticism.

The staff were friendly, the decor was odd but cute, it was very loud (music + people + kitchen) which was definitely off putting, wouldn't recommend to anyone with sensory issues. The food was quite good, I had the veggie burger (garden gnome burger I think it was called) which comes with a side of chips. The chips were amazing; crunchy but not overcooked, soft, and bursting with flavour. The burger was really good too, however the Mayo was too much and very overwhelming. The servings are way too large, my grandparents had pasta dishes and they couldn't finish those meals. I adored my milkshake, I'd go there again just to get one. My grandparents enjoyed their iced coffee and cappacino too.
