Kensington Gardens reserve is a very large green park. Three ovals (Colonel waite oval, Ford Oval and Parkinson Oval), many tennis courts and three bowling courts, some basketball courts are there. Kensington Gardens preschool centre and Burnside Rugby Union Club are also in this reserve. Stonefell Creek goes through it. The environment is very beautiful. More than a dozen kinds of children's entertainment facilities in the playgrounds here. There are many animal sculptures carved on a huge log which is nearby the Burnside Adventure Playground . It’s easy to forget you’re still in the city, the only soundtrack is the chorus of birds that call this place home. As a lovely bonus, the reserve offers two nature playgrounds, public tennis courts, and a pair of workout stations.
