I visited Bennetts during a girls' Easter trip and had a fantastic experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the service was top-notch. We enjoyed delicious pizzas that were perfectly paired with their signature sparkling wine, which was crisp and refreshing. The beautiful surroundings provided stunning views of the vineyards and countryside, making it a perfect outing. Overall, it was an enjoyable and memorable experience.

A wonderful day out at Bennetts. We booked a fabulous tasting board with match wines - a great way to experience the winery offerings and local produce! Booked transfers to and from St Leonards - so easy and friendly. It’s adults only for inside dining, but lots of tables outside to enjoy pizzas and other offerings if you’ve got your kids with you! Will definitely come back, thanks!

Focaccia was amazing! Brisket pizza was good but full of garlic, salami and jalapeño was good and spicy. Yes they are family run (we can see from all the responses) but the whole order by QR code and put the people with kids in the gazebo area out the back was a bit of a vibe kill - no music hard to see out the tent window thing etc. Looking forward to going back kid free

Date we attended: Saturday November 12th 2022.

From start to finish it was a terrible experience. From the very beginning, we were talked down to, belittled, made to feel unwelcome and felt genuinely uncomfortable.

We spent a decent amount of money however this should not matter, the woman who runs this place (short blonde hair-middle aged) needs to either find a different line of work or lighten up.

I have not been spoken to in such a disgusting manner in a very long time. I have dined in the most basic of places and upmarket restaurants and this woman seems to choose to speak to different clientele depending on who she likes either on the day or in her own prejudice mind entirely.

There seems to be so many rules and regulations that are imposed on guests that are chosen at random who she doesn't mind attacking at the beginning, middle and end of your visit to really make sure you have a horrible time.

Now that I've let you know about the service, let's talk about food.

Everything that was 'made' was either dry or over cooked. The only good things that were decent were the cheeses, crackers and beverages however please keep in mind the cheese was not made by them, the crackers came out of a box and the beverages were not their own brand.

I seriously recommend going somewhere else where your business will be appreciated. Myself, my friends and family will never return and we will let anyone and everyone know if asked or reminded of this place to avoid at all costs.

Have a fantastic day and if you read this and choose not to go enjoy the fact that you dodged a rude, inconsiderate, disrespectful woman and (her?) business.

P.S. Maybe you should take that aggressive behaviour and put it towards cleaning the bathrooms and lawns covered in dog poo because they were filthy, thank...

The experience my group had was mixed so I am trying to explain: the approach war great everyone was realy nice, there is lots of staff but only one person doing the tasting so if there is 3 groups or more you will have to wait quite a bid to get through it. There wine is great, I preferred there reds more as specially there shiraz. Where it became a bid rough was 3 of us had a tasting, but we stayed several hours and bought quite a bid of wine over the counter and enjoyed food there as well yet only 2 of us took wine home so we still got charged for the remaining tasting since one of us did not buy wine ( leaving back to Europe tomorrow and had quite a bid to drink there already :-))The Cheese plater I bought was for 2 cheeses and the one I wanted was out so she made up a platter with I pice of cheese and 3 small cubes of each of 2 other cheeses she offered inseat, we endet up getting charged for a 3 cheese platter- it would have been great to be asked if you are going to charge more if you will change the order - the plater was great but I would have liked to know, as specially when you spend over $200 on food and wine and still need to pay for the one tasting ( $10) I might be to picky but having my own business I would never dare charging more than quoted without discussing with the customer 1st.. I will probably not be back due to the nature of my presents here today and even though buying some of there wines was nice the overcharging leaves me irritated and...

We visited here on Australia Day.

First, the good bits... The wines are good. The rose, sparkling and pinot noir were very good. The pizzas were very good, with the bases being very well made.

The food and drinks we ordered came out quickly and the service was efficient.

On the down side... The food and wine were too expensive. $14.95 to $16 for a glass of wine. $33 for a smallish pizza. On top of that, there was the public holiday surcharge, which I don't mind paying usually, but the base price is already high.

A sign over the bar said "wine tasting $22” which is well above what I've seen charged by any winery I've visited. I could see no mention of whether they refund the $22 if you buy some wine, as some cellar doors do.

The staff at the counter weren't welcoming or friendly. Not quite rude but definitely not a warm welcome. I heard from someone that the bosses were on holiday so maybe the service wasn't up to its usual standard.

The outdoor area is OK but not great. Our rickety old table was lopsided so empty glasses kept toppling over in the wind or if someone bumped the table. No one came to clear the empty glasses in the two hours we were there. So I sat there the whole time slightly on edge, watching glasses to make sure they didn't topple over and smash.

There was a live music duo playing pretty typical, harmonica-heavy blues covers. I found it too loud for the setting but others might like it.

So it was OK but I...
