It was not really snowing. I think weekend would be better as they make snow during the weekend. It was fun. I would recommend to get car chain from AutoBarn Launceston which is half price of Base camp hiring agent. We paid $42.00 for nothing no snowy road so did not need to put on tyres. Toboggan was a fun part for me. You can hire all wearing( track, pants, boot, gloves, beanie) $40( toboggan included).

Great Staff... professional & friendly service. Looking forward to seeing Ben Lomond opporating at it's peak potential soon. Mountains of powder snow and all lifts opperstional & running. Fun for the whole family Only true Ski & Snow Board Snow Resort in Tassy. Netty & Dave lead from the front, Ben is a legend! As is Vince, Jacob & all the lifties!

Had a fantastic day out on the slopes and mingling with some of the more tame wild residents. Good snow coverage and enough of a decent to hone blue diamond skiers from the chairlift peak. The cafe serves amazing burgers and loaded fries for very reasonable prices. Lifts promptly dispatched the queuing masses.

Was good but staff using ski lift are pretty rude.1 staff told us to “just try the lift first before buying a pass bc if it’s too hard we should not buy it.” We went and the staff there said he’d be happy to let us have a go first and we enquired about the prices and buying a pass for the rest of the day. He helped us and offered a discount for the rest of the day and was very helpful. When we tried the lift the blonde female staff member came up to us and said “we were being unfair to the people that paid and we are trying to have multiple goes on the lift” (my friend had not even tried the lift and was waiting and I had only tried once as the man instructed us to) We explained that the other staff told us to do it and was happy letting us try the lift and we were listening to what the male staff was telling us to do and we tried to assure her we weren’t trying to do that (and we had already enquired about buying a pass with the staff and he would give us a discount for the last bit of the day which we were interested in buying) but anytime we spoke she would not listen and insist “we were being unfair to the others and it won’t be open tomorrow anyways” she was horrible and discouraging, we just left and didn’t bother. She would not listen to us explain and kept repeating like we were children and being very angry. Babe you need help because you’re aggressive and weird, and maybe the staff should be responsible for communicating between each other on this topic rather than telling us something different each and then attacking us when we are following directions from other staff as our first time...

People freaking out about Jacob’s ladder need to get a grip, it’s not at all scary. Well it could be if you get caught in heavy snow or ice, but otherwise it’s not a big deal at all. Or maybe they are talking about the movie? Idk, I haven’t seen it. As for the top of the mountain, under good snowy conditions it’s a decent enough spot. It’s not a large area for skiing. The snow play area is ok. It’s tame, it’s all a bit tame so a great place for beginners. Unfortunately on our visit the snow was more ice than snow, thanks big oil! You will need to have wheel chains to go up and have a parks pass, technically, I mean you can go up without either and risk it, no one is going to stop you, but don’t be a clown - do the...

Ben (Director, not the mountain!),

I want to commend you on one of the best customer service experiences I have had in a long time, your business is an amazing asset and representative of Tasmanian hospitality and tourism.

You operate your business with empathy, care, respect and with the most client focussed approach I have seen anywhere.

On behalf of myself and my family, thank you.

Next time we're in Tassie it's Ben Lomond for us!!!

Have a...
