I’ve been to the blue mountains many times but never ventured in to the bush so this was a great first experience. It really felt worth the 20-30 minute round trip. The descent was maybe 10 minutes with two young kids in tow, going down was easy for grown ups but harder for kids. Coming back up was a struggle for me and I stopped to catch my breath a couple of times (if you’re out of shape be prepared for sore legs), my 5 year old was telling me to hurry up going back up! Almost 3 year old was challenged but determined. I wouldn’t take a child under 3 unless you are prepared to carry them if they can’t or won’t go on. Waterfall was beautiful, water was clear, super cold and refreshing. There’s no bins down there so if you bring any food make sure you bring bags or something to take your garbage with you. Great fun would go again. Very busy though so might try a weekday next time.

Walked down many, many steps to reach this quite pretty pool and waterfall. Its pretty well trafficked, people kept showing up, so don't expect a quiet time to yourself. Although we did show up at at 3pm. Unfortunately others did not share the same respect for the pool, or to anybody else that was there. Just want to look at some water flowing down some rocks into a pool and some small mouth breathing troglodytes felt the need to throw rocks in and make the biggest splash possible. Can understand if there was nobody else there, then channel your inner hairy ape ancestor all you want, but if others are there, be considerate. The walk back up was not as bad as I was expecting and went by pretty quick.

Absolutely stunning waterfall and natural pool after a short but steep walk. Be warned, although not very long in distance the walk is steps the whole way down and back up again, so a reasonable degree of mobility and endurance is necessary. Fine for young children (3 or so upwards) who are full of energy! Takes around 30-40 minutes each way. Very muddy after rain so be sure to wear proper shoes with reasonable grip.

I took the trail from Gordon Falls picnic area. It was a wonderful walk through the forest. I was the only one on the path for much of the time. A couple people passed me going the other way. There was not too much water going over the falls or in the pool, but it was still beautiful and serene. I sat for 1/2 hr and only had two or three groups go past, none of which stopped.

We took our 3 year old for a lovely walk to this waterfall. It was very pleasant & lots of fun. At one point it does look a bit Jurassic as you reach the falls. A nice splash & a good walk back up. You do need good sneakers and it can be a bit slippery in places, but overall its excellent. Highly recommend! Time: 15mins down & 20mins back up with a 3 year old.

I loved seeing the Pool of Siloam. The stairs are allot to handle and there are not allot of hand rails along the track (as at 03/01/22). I am glad I have ok fitness, cause I needed it to climb the few hundred stairs out. Absolutely worth every step, would recommend to anyone looking for someone new to explore.

Description
The term Pool of Siloam refers to a number of rock-cut pools on the southern slope of the Wadi Hilweh, located outside the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem to the southeast. The pools were fed by the waters of the Gihon Spring, carried there by the Siloam Tunnel.
