Princes Rock Lookout offers breathtaking sweeping vistas and a pretty decent view of Wentworth Falls. The effort to get there is well worth it—but fair warning, it’s no casual stroll!
The trail includes over 220 steps down… and back up, which my Apple Watch kindly registered as an 11-flight climb. Despite what the information center might suggest, this is definitely not an “easy” walk. There aren’t many great places to stop on the way up or down, but you can pause to catch your breath if needed.

If medium fitness, allow 20 minutes for return tramp, double that if out of condition as you'll need multiple stops to regather breath on return uphill. Read moreA relatively easy walk. We came during a rainy period so the ground was pretty wet and we did have to manoeuvre large puddles too. But the view was nice (even with the fog) and I reckon it would be a great walk to do in good weather!
