A secluded little beach with nary a lobster in sight, although there was a healthy community of tiny crabs. There is a composting toilet on the beach, on the right of the steps as you come down, tucked into the hillside. Didn’t see any rubbish bins, so take your litter with you! It’s a destination you have to work to get to, and for me the effort was totally worth it. It starts from an innocent-looking path and builds up to a series of steps climbing a rather steep slope, and then down more steps on another rather steep slope towards the sea.

Photos really don’t do this beach justice. One of the most beautiful beaches on the central coast and generally quite quiet compared to most beaches too. Be warned that it is quite a steep hike both up and down to get to the beach and back to the car again. The steps are very hardy and the path is well sign posted. The walk to (and from) the beach to the car is only around 10-15 minutes if that! The beach is only accessible via bush-walk or a boat so be prepared. The effort is 100% worth it!

A picturesque beach that’s slightly protected from the open ocean making it a great place to swim. The walk to and from involves a fair few steps up and down so make sure you are up for the challenge! There is a toilet on the beach which is very handy. The sand is golden and there are rocks on both ends of the beach that is great for exploring. A beach worth visiting!

Went today, nice little quiet beach. We drove and walked. Most of the people there cam by boat. Was about 20 boats anchored on the beach with visitors. Would have been nicer without all the boat lining the shore but they were all quiet and respectful, they all slowed down to a crawl when coming or going, I was surprised the jet skiers did the same. My kids enjoyed it,...
