It was a nice walk again had to pay to park which was a more reasonable 4 dollars rather than the 10 dollars at the lighthouse. Views good but the description online was a little misleading regarding time it took, less than half hour for us and we go at a lesuely pace, lush rainforest walk. We have just come from FNQ and they had lush rainforest walks. The scenery wasn't spectacular it was very nice but I wouldn't say spectacular. Nice beach lots of waves with surfers waiting for that wave.

The track is closed at the moment (21/3/22 to 27/5/22) for a serious repair and upgrade after all the rain and flooding in early 2022 However, when it reopens it is well worth the walk for the lovely views of the coast and the rocky headland, you can watch the surfers, occasionally see whales, dolphins and turtles passing around the headland at the right times of year... There is also a good view north up the coast to Cape Byron headland and lighthouse.

What a lovely spot. It's not too challenging, for the unfit. We were lucky enough to see whales breaching, just past the 3 Sisters Rocks. We saw babies as well. There were some dolphins around, under the waves were the surfers were. It's very windy so take a hat with a chinstrap. It was a bit chilly there as well. It seems popular with visitors and we had friendly encounters with others. Would visit again if I was staying at Broken Head.
