Absolutely beautiful falls and worth the walk. The view from the viewing platform over the falls is breathtaking. Lots of interesting vegetation (ferns, flowering shrubs, wattle) and bird life in the area. Highly recommended. Notes - You need to park at the specific Fairy Bower Falls Carpark to have the shortest possible walk down to the falls. We parked at the separate carpark for the Fairy Bower Falls Walk. This is also a very nice walk - we saw two big waterfalls on the way down - but quite a bit harder. Either way the walk is steep (rocks, stone steps, actual stairs) and slippery in places especially after rain. You will need to cross a wide but shallow stream to get to the falls lookout. We did not walk all the way to the bottom of the falls so can't comment on what that section of the walk is like. Wear hiking boots and sensible clothing and bring a water bottle.

I did the walk from tooth's lookout down cliff climb track down to Bundanoon Creek then back up to Fairy Bower falls but the water was to high to get across to continue up the trail. I then retraced my steps up cliff climb track which is a pretty hard slog. Went across to Fairy Bower Falls trail head and went down to the other side of the Falls. Unfortunately the fairy Bower Falls track which allows you to continue along to the Fairy Bower Falls parking is closed due to the trail being dangerous. This would allow you to do a big loop from tooth's lookout to fairy Bower Falls carport. So you understand its a good idea to drive from tooth's lookout past the entrance to fairy Bower Falls and to what they call fairy Bower Falls carpark. All in all worth checking out. Need to be pretty fit to do

Beautiful location, located in the Southern Highlands. I would highly recommend visiting on a day when the winds are not so bad,as parts were closed which was totally understandable due to safety. We will go back as we never got down to the falls, however the trails we walked were great. • Plenty of parking • I would suggest visiting the Fitzroy Falls visitor centre in the National Park for advice regardless of your fitness level and check the National Parks website for all alerts and relevant information. • And obviously pack the appropriate gear before heading off and wear the appropriate footwear !

A beautiful walk, well looked after and mostly clean... please note that there are no toilets, so go beforehand and don't leave those unflushable wipes lying about the place. There are toilets at the picnic area, there really is no excuse for this.

To those that did - you people are holding us back as a species and are ruining our planet. You are scum, so I suggest that you please drive your car headfirst into a wall at great speed.

For everyone else, you'll see water dragons and a beautiful waterfall that cascades into a smaller waterfall that you can walk under to cool down after the walk. It's a steep walk, but if a five-year old can do it, you should...
