The beach is nice, not really a beach for swimming though, and there's no shade. It's not easily accessible without a car. Charging $4 per hour is a slap in the face. The council up there are out of control with their parking regime. They now have patrol cars cruising the streets of Byron Bay scanning number plates of parked cars.
