Great location 10-15 min walk to two great beaches. Has a nice pool. That's the end of the list of positives. Advertised as 'luxury' - it's not, it desperately needs a renovation (we stayed in apartment 3)... unfortunately it rained most of the week we stayed (can't blame the weather on the apartment) but being cooped up inside reinforced how scungy it is. They might as well not have advertised WiFi/internet as it's not capable of anything other than checking email... In poor weather or during the evening, forget relaxing while watching Netflix, it simply can't handle video streaming (doesn't even start) despite many attempts to restart the router. Had to use 4g which can be patchy. Also, wasn't cleaned when we arrived (had to vacate for a few hours while the cleaner quickly mopped and vacuumed). Again, we can forgive this as an isolated incident but none of this improves the quality of the experience. Even after the cleaner had been there is still a significant amount of visible mould in the bathroom. Very disappointing. Pictured is a pile of dirty laundry which greeted us when we arrived. Full disclosure, the booking agent allowed us to check out "any time" on our final day as compensation. You can also get a nice look at the mould and rot growing out from the base of the bathroom cabinetry... Finally, the BBQ didn't work. I guess you could say we should've asked or complained, but we only wanted to use it one time, on a whim - after the moment had passed it was all too hard and too late. I mean shouldn't it just work? Should a BBQ need troubleshooting? A very dark, dank, old unit with no attractive qualities beyond it's location. If that's all you want (location) this may suit you.

We rented an apartment for a week, the apartment is lovely, balcony galore, well stocked kitchen, big fridge, oven is old so the markers have rubbed off but I found the manual in a drawer, very handy. Dishwasher, oven and stove top work well, induction cooktop.

Small laundry is well stocked with a washing basket, pegs, sink, washing machine, dryer and a clothes airer. BYO washing powder etc. There is a shared clothes line available but we didn't use it.

The beds aren't very comfortable, some less so than others, the linens are good quality, adequate supply of towels, the bedding is warm enough for the weather, the pillows aren't very good.

The living area is spacious, the couch is old and lumpy. The main balcony is wonderful with table and chairs and a sun chair, needs a little BBQ though, you have to go use the shared one which was filthy.

We had issues with the internet, which they promptly fixed.

Note there are several stairs to access the property. Undercover car space is a bonus. As they say in the ad, bring dishwasher detergent/tablets, and all your toiletries, however they did supply dishwashing liquid and a couple tea towels. There is a big and small coffee plunger and a nice selection of teas. Some good knives, not very sharp anymore but get the job done.

The location of this apartment is wonderful, walking distance to the beach and to a cafe, and we walked into town in about 15 mins. Update the beds/pillows and couch, put a small BBQ on the balcony and I'd give this...

A hidden gem. Walking distance to the beach and a cute cafe. Not too far from town. Has all the amenities one would need from an apartment. Bonus is having an internal washer and dryer, which is essential when...
